  1. Hi all, I ordered Revita shampoo on Amazon and received a 1 litre bottle of it. I am not sure if it is authentic as I do not think if Revita comes in 1 litre bottle. Can you please let me know if Revita comes in a one litre bottle? Thanks in advance!
  2. Bonkerstonker, I am sorry if I came off rude, but I realy appreciate you taking the time and answering my questions. It is certainly not my right to get all the information, but I thought by me asking questions, alot of us will be benefited. I would definitely be benefited, because I am surely very nervous manipulating my transplanted hair, expecially after my doctor told me if I keep om running my hands through my transplanted hair, I will lose my hair or get patchy baldness. Anyways, thank you Bonkerstonker, I appreciate your help and thank everyone for their feedback!
  3. That's it, only two people replied out of so many views? Guys, any tips or photos will be alot of help. Not just for me, but so many others. How you style hair? Tips, tricks etc.
  4. Great! This is really very helpful. Do you think if I switch to once a day application of Rogaine my hair would maintain. Or would you recommend twice a day is the way to go.
  5. Hi, I am 11 months post op and have been using Rogaine foam for 6 months, twice daily. If I switch from twice a day application to once a day (nightly) application. Will I be able yo maintain what I have, or the density will go down as a result? Has anyone who had a transplant tried going from twice a day to once a day? Or dropped it altogether? Did you lose ground? I want to stop putting foam in the morning, it is a pain in the backside and makes my hair look like sh!t. Also, I break and pull out so many hair while brushing/combing it. Please let me know. Thanks all.
  6. I am told by my surgeon if I play around with my hair too much it will fall out. He also told me to not comb or brush my hair too much, as it pulls the hair out and the follicle will eventually die, if the hair is kept getting pulled out. Is that true? I apply Rogaine in the morning and wait for it to dry, but as it dries it makes my hair really stiff and hard. When I comb or brush my hair, they get pulled out no matter how gently I do it. Are these hair gone for good?
  7. Thanks Rambler, I actually wanted to know how everyone is styling their hair after tranpslant. The post that you referenced is definitely helpful, but does not help with ideas as to how we can style our transplanted hair. Plus, if someone has a better routine may be some of us can be benefitted of it. But that could happen only if we share...
  8. Hi guys, Just wanted to ask you guys of your styling routines. How do you guys style your transplanted hair. Can you guys be kind enough and share your styling routines and any tips you can give me? I am 11 months post op and also ise Rogaine foam. Please let me know. Thanks in advance. Gimmeback
  9. Hey Greatjob, I am using Rogaine foam. Whenever I use it I get a film of white stuff on my scalp. I am kind of paranoid of using too much and I think I may have permanently damaged my grafts by using too much foam for 1 week. I use 3 squirts from the can and Ito cover front and back and I end up having a thick white film on my scalp. I am 5 months post op with no results
  10. Hi everyone, I am now 05 months after my hair transplant. I have started using Rogaine foam 01 week ago with daily use of Revita shampoo. It has been one week since I have started using Rogaine foam, I seem to be struggling with it. I seem to be using too much of the Rogaine on my scalp. When it dries it leaves a white film on my scalp. I am not worried about using too much, but I certainly concerned about damaging the grafts by using too much of Rogaine. II am using three squirts from the can and it seems to be too much. I am starting to use less and less, but I am concerned that I may have already caused permanent damage to the grafts by using too much. Do you guys think I may have done any damage. I am 05 months post op and yet to see results . Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  11. Thanks Greatjob. I guess I am over-cautious because I haven't started seeing results yet. Once I see some growth/new hair it will settle in then. Until that point I want to make sure that I am not doing anything to jeopardize my results. Thanks once again.
  12. Thanks everyone. At 4 months post-op what can damage the grafts? I mean not having clean pillow or hat, can that affect the grafts somehow? I make sure that everything that comes in contact with my scalp is clean, but I travel alot and I am not sure how strict the hotels are with their hygiene and also the sweat build-up in the hat, can that somehow put the grafts at risk? What should I be avoiding to do at this point?
  13. Where are you guys buying your Rogaine from? Are you guys using foam or liquid? Shampoo morning and evening before applying Rogaine?
  14. Thanks Garageland. I guess I am worried because I have followed alot of posts before my surgery and I have seen patients to atleast some signs that it is growing or everything is on track, but at 4 months things are not looking so good. Can you guys also answer a couple of more questions? - When I shampoo and dry my hair, I notice some dry flakes and dead skin and stuff. I am not shampooing gently or babying my hair. I normally shampoo and scrub my scalp, but still dry skin flakes are there on my scalp. Is this dry flaky skin going to hurt the grafts? What can damage the grafts at this point? - Can I start using Revita shampoo? Is there any harm if I use it daily? I am 4 months post op? - I have started taking 3000 mcg MSM and 2000 mcg of Biotin. How should I take it? Recommended dosage? Slickers, I wouldn't like to name the surgeon until I see some results beacaue all of a sudden this thread will be occupied with alot of unwanted replies. I will wait for another couple of months. I had FUT. - Should I use Rogaine foam? How do you guys suggest I should use it post op? After shampoo, morning, evening?
  15. Thanks guys. I am a little relieved now. Are we not supposed to shampoo every day after HT to make sure the scalp is clean? If I do not shampoo everyday, will that not stop the growth? So what should I do those days, just rinse my hair with water? I let my family take a look at my scalp once in a while when they are over, even they cannot see the hair with the naked eye when it is sprouting?
  16. Hey Guys, I am very worried. I had my surgery 4 months ago with a very renowned doctor. Today, I got my hair totally soaked in the rain. I was not wearing a hat as it was late evening and sun was ling set. I am now worried that I may have screwed up my transplant. I came home and quickly shampooed my hair to make sure everything was clean. Do you guys think I screwed up my transplant? I still have not seen any regrowth so I am not sure what to expect now. 2) I shampoo twice, morning and evening, and have been doing the same since the procedure. Is that not good for the transplanted hair? The clinic said it was ok to shampoo as often as I liked? Can you guys please let me know if that is okay? Your inputs will be much appreciated. Thanks all. Cheers!
