For me its been now 11 months since I had 4000 FUE grafts hair transplant with Dr. Maral in Istanbul.

First 4 pictures are taken just 2 weeks before the hair transplant and the rest of 14 are taken today.

Yes it definitely looking different and better than pr-ht and yes I am very pleased so far.

Do you think I will have more growth, ticker hair and density or is this the end result of 4000 grafts? on the 8th of January 2014 I will reach 9 months post op.

Yes it is very normal to shed that much. You might shed even more some time at a later stage.

I am not shedding that much like a while ago. Now I see its growing more and getting a natural look. I know I will not have a proper density but I am sure you agree that there is 100% positive difference than my pic 1hour before HT.

I am happy so far.

I told you it is nothing to worry about! Your just a late "shedder" I just think that the hairs have detached from the follicles and the new hairs will be just behind ready to come through.

I hope so mate. I hope you are right about late shedder. I don't mind going back bald but as long as transplanted hair grow back.

just wanted update that I sent an email to my surgeon and he advised that this is transient and nothing to worry. There is nothing can be done as this stage.

Hope to see transplanted hair regrow.

Please see my result of 5 months and 2 weeks and 6 months and 1 week.

I am now 6 months and 1 week post op and my transplanted hair is shedding a lot since couple of weeks. Transplanted hair looks really thin and my hands are full of hair when taking shower.

I don't taking any growth medications. I have been using this Alpecine shampoo and stopped since last week just to be on the safe side.

I am on Sebamed everyday shampoo now.

I was very happy with the results at 5 months and 2weeks post op, head looked full and natural but now its going back to balding stage and the hair is really thin.

I know live style can contribute to hair loss, I am eating very healthy and exercising. I don't smoke and I don't drink, I don't have any kind of stress or depression as well.

Please advice.

it is normal to have dimples, it should look better soon.

But if you are experiencing anything unusual like pain or signs of infection then better contact the surgeon.

I hated the first 3 months post op, dimples, infections, pimples, red, ugly and much more haha.

It is a hard decision, need a lot of research about the doctor and their work.

I have done my ht based on some friends reviews/results and also I have been in contact with someone from this forum who gave me AtoZ info and advice about everthing. I still bother him with questions and advice lol.

Anyway I wish you all the best, I hope you can find the right doctor and get the best results.

why to go with a doctor who has a bad reputation for bad hairline

I would pay a bit more for better results then go with a cheap doctor and have emotional torture for the rest of my life.

I think you should look more for the quality then the price. I am not saying not to go with cheap doctors, but I do say that you must make sure they have all the quality to give you probably a lifetime hair joy.
