Hi guys - I have CVG as well. I haven't visited this site in a while ,so glad to see some recent posts. Is the Dr. Cooley referenced the one located in NC? I haven't been able to find anyone in Dallas that is familiar / experienced with CVG and various solutions (reduction / transplant).

Hey Spanker, I have what I consider a mild case of CVG - not as extreme as some on the internet, but definitely not a mild case. I have 3 ridges on each side of my scalp, for a total of 6. I have read about the traditional excision / removal of the scap as a solution. But recently read about subcision (release) of the creases combined with fat injections. Do you have any information on these options and the cost difference? I have not seen a doctor yet, but with my hair continuing to bald I am getting more serious about scheduling a visit. Trying to do some homework before I do.

Hi all, I've been researching on here, but still have some basic questions.... 1. I hear reference to NW7, etc - some type of assessment grading. Can someone help tell me what I would be based on my pics? I assume this is helpful to look at other examples of completed transplants in similar situations? 2. I am in Dallas, but I see two doctors in Houston recommended on this site. Would you recommend traveling for a consultation? 3. Any other guidance / experiences is appreciated! Thanks! JB
