Yo! So it's almost been 6 months and it's looking good! Pre-photos are somewhere in my profile.

Aside from side affects like acne, is there any reason to stop taking it? I've heard to stop after 3 or so months, but no reason why. It's water soluble so it'll get flushed out of your system quickly, so why stop taking it? Ps. I'm 3 1/2 months post-op FUE and have been taking it since just after the procedure.

So I have uneven pigment distribution on my forehead and it bothers the sh!t out of me. I'll do a chemical peel at some point (I think it's too aggressive being 4 weeks out of a HT, right?), but I'd like to get back to using Hydroquinone 4% (obagi) and tretinoin. Is there a danger at this point to the grafts using either or both products?

You're missing two big things here. Actually three.1) if you want to keep this a secret, you might wanna blur out your profile picture if that's indeed you, since it can be seen by anyone in the world, including your family, if they happen to stumble upon. 2) Telling your girlfriend is a good test. A) It tells you where she stands when you're down, so to speak. Will she take care of you, nurture you, or shun you. If the latter, wouldn't you rather end the r/p now then be with an unsupportive brat? B) Don't you want to know if she can actually keep a secret? If you're not gonna test her, how will you ever know? 3) Sex! I'm not talking hypothetically here. I'm in a 2 month r/p and I told the girl and by the next day we were going at it. No bending over for me, but plenty for her, lol. Gives you that nice brief spike in BP to wake your little follicles up. Now, I'm not saying an F marathon here. But short amounts of raising BP, imo, are good for establishing follicle circulation.

Hey so both times after the procedure, I remember around day 7 I stroked the little guys in the recipient area and the new hairs felt like bristles. After drinking pretty hard on the night of day 10, I noticed the next day that they softened. I assume this means that circulation has been established for the new follicles. And then I wonder if binge drinking that night helped establish that, or was it just coincidence? Hmmmm... I had a massive headache the day after as a result of the drinking, and actually ended up throwing up later that day in a parking lot. Could this be the solution!? lol

You can get free consults, so you should b/c it's a personal thing- what one guy likes, another doesn't, and price, etc.

Thanks, Vox!
Okay, so if you look at these pic's you'll see a man, a man who says f*uck you genetics! I want to boink as many girls as possible and I will not let mother nature cut my d!ck off and limit me to old, withered-up, dry, cat ladies. And I'm at day 6 and holding...
Also, how good does the back of my head look!? That's the AFTER photo! Unshaven for the win!!

Here's your pic that was posted on your blog - since it was now hosted on the web, it was an easy task to copy the URL, and paste it in the address window that the 'mountain/sun' opens.
THx, Vox. Unfortunately, doesn't work for me. It puts little boxes w/ a ? in it.

Thx, Stublu,
So I thought shock loss was a risk in any HT. Are you saying the likelihood increases w/ a smaller surgery or it increases b/c you are doing more than one procedure?

I have melasma on my forehead (looks like sun spots). I'll get a chemical peel done. Anyone know how long I have to wait before proceeding?

I have melasma (sun spot like) on my forehead that will will be treated w/ a chemical peel (TCA, glycolic acid, jessners or VI peel), how soon after FUE surgery can I proceed?

I hear the quite a bit. But don't you brush you teeth everyday?
yeah, but i don't swallow the toothpaste.

I think there were some issues between your doc and the site years ago. That doesn't mean he isn't a good doc. I don't know a lot about him. I imagine you had a transplant in Atlanta.
Are you on finasteride?
Yeah, Atlanta. No, I'm averse to medication so I'll take biotin for a few months and then stop, but I'll continue to take saw palmetto.
I don't take medication b/c I hate the idea of being on something forever, but it seems like transplants are forever too. ha.

Ugggh! Okay here's a link to the album. What's the point of the mountain/sun icon if it won't work?

Got back yesterday. Here's pics! If these don't load, someone please help me figure this out cuz it's driving me bonkers!

I'm not spreading misinformation, you are b/c I copied and pasted my original post and the only thing I took out is the doctor's name and it posted. Yes pm me b/c I would like to know what the beef is. It was my understanding it's a money thing. Aside from that, I would like to know if the photos are loading b/c I can't see they load and id like to share em. Side note, my head doesn't look like the elephant man this time- I iced my forehead 5 mins every hr until bed.

pps. I find it ridiculous that when I mention the doctor, b/c he's not on the prestigious list here, it automatically puts the post in limbo until a moderator approves it. What kind of sh!t is that?

PS. I just got my 2nd FUE procedure done today! Unshaven. Esthetically it looks sooo much better. I'll find out tomorr exactly how many grafts I got.
EDIT: Pics don't load- WHY!??! You can go to my album to see my post-op pics from today.
WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT!!?!?!?!!

Hey Guys,
So I had my 2nd FUE done today, which is almost 3 years later. I'm happy I went w/ unshaven this time b/c the back looks undetectable. This time I opted out of ATP spray and PRP, but I did get ACell injected to help w/ donor region recovery. Pretty conservative this time. Hopefully, all goes well. Frankly, I'm laid up and bored so this is what I'm doing. haha.
Here's link to my pictures b4 and after.

Hey Guys,
I'm curious what your take is on spacing out FUE procedures. Background, 3 years ago, I had 1,700 grafts and today I had 460 done. I've gone at this conservatively, but wonder, since I still would like more, if the next time I should go all out and finish what I started. Side note, I will say that over the past 3 years I've lost a bit more so maybe you're never done, but still, I wonder if the survival rate is impacted by whether you space out procedures or go all out all at once....

Hey,
So I saw today there's a class action suit against wen shampoo claiming it causes hair to fall out, however, I believe it's only women. I use Wen and so naturally I'm worried. Has anyone had bad experience w/ wen or heard about it causing hair loss in guys???

I've had 2 FUE's and wondering about people claiming to see growth after 3 months of rubbing stinky-ass onion and garlic stew on their freaking heads. Anyone w/ experience with this after a hair transplant? I mean, not right after. That would be crazy.
