I've just been staring at your updated pics, literally, with my mouth wide open. :eek: This is definitely giving me food for thought....the reason being, I have very similar hair characteristics to you, and I reckon I need about 3,500 for my loss area. This has definitely opened me up to the possibility of not necessarily sticking in Europe with the Belgian guys.

It's funny you should ask. I've been using Fin 1.25mg per day for a while now but I was experiencing side effects. Only 2 weeks ago I've changed it, so now I'm taking one on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I have read that the pharmacological effect (blocking DHT) is still almost the same every 2nd day as it is every day. I'm trying it out for a while anyway.

Even just at night would be fine! 4 months is still quite early in the whole process going by others and their timelines, months 6-9 will really tell how things are shaping I guess.

Are you using Minoxidil? If not, it could help things.

Nice! The reason I asked is because I'm going to Belgium next month to see Dr. B amongst others. My loss is quite similar to you, albeit you had less covering your frontal half than I do (but it's slipping fast). In speaking with Stephen, he said my loss 'may' need more than 3000. I'd prefer the FUE route as I think I'd have less chance of people suspecting I had work, but if it comes down to it I might do it if he recommends I'm more suited to strip. My skin and hair tone are also quite similar.

It only just occurred to me that the weekend I'm looking at is St. Paddys day, so bank holiday monday! Think I might get over early on Sat morning, and depart Monday night. Plenty of time to get a few clinics in. RichFrog.....what was your experience like with each clinic, and what decision did you come to?

That more than helps ej! Exactly the kind of info I was looking for, cheers. I definitely think I'll be doing this over the coming weeks. If I do it in one day, Feriduni and Bisanga will be my targets, if I decide on spreading it over two, I might try and get to the likes of Devroye and DeReyes.

Again not wanting to derail this from the ops original post......but surely Bhatti is worth a mention? Have been nothing but impressed with his work and I think he is my most likely option right now if I get a HT done in a few months.

Hi guys, I'm currently sending pics to a few select clinics to get an assessment of my situation, but I like the idea of surgeons actually having me physically in front of them to get an exact idea of how I'm fixed. I'm based in Ireland, and the thoughts of blitzing Belgium for a day of consultations interests me. Is this realistic? Would it be asking too much to do this on a Saturday? I could arrive in Brussels for 9/9.30, and work from there. Feriduni/Bisanga are the main two, but would be interested to get the opinions of other clinics there too, time permitting. Any info appreciated!

I've just turned 30 and I've been on the same as you guys for quite a while now (1.25mg per day). Over the past year or so though, I've noticed sides of Fin and I think I'm going to try the M W F regimen for sure starting from next week.
