  1. How has your progress been Cim? Anxious to see how you are coming along
  2. First off, how did you sisters surgery go?? Any updates?? Haha J/K man.. One thing you need to be certain of is if you rent a car there, make absolute certain that you park in the correct parking garage. That mistake was made on my surgery day and our vehicle was locked in the garage the whole night and not one person in the darn city has a key to open it and so we got to experience the train ride that next morning. We were lucky enough that one of the nurses gave us a ride back to our hotel which was in Richmond. We stayed 4 nights total and I elected to have them pay for the Sheraton on Friday and Saturday night because I figured rates would be more expensive on the weekend. Best of luck to ya!
  3. No doubt, I just posted some pics for the 15 weeks. I think I can feel little stubbles of hair in the hairline, but not 100% sure. I know everyone always thinks that they may be that 1 in a million that doesn't have a successful transplant lol.
  4. I'll be at 15 weeks Thursday and have made it through the hardest part (I believe) and am getting anxious because I know here in the next month to 2 months that some people start seeing their results. Just needed to spit that out, that is all
  5. They've just went away on their own. I hit the 12 week mark yesterday
  6. I really don't know if it was dermatitis or not, or just red pimples. I actually had a break from those until last night, now I have two near my crown
  7. I had lost my native hair with the shock loss. I am exactly 10 weeks post op today, so I still have a ways to go!
  8. Jet, It hit me pretty good too and while I've made some progress in the past couple weeks, I don't know if I would say if I'm back to where I was pre-op
  9. I have the exact same thing and I am 9 1/2 weeks post op. I was told just to massage them firmly and it will bring the pus to the top.
  10. This. I also got mine through H&W and received the same black loose fitting hat. I was told after 5 days (I believe) that I could go back to wearing my normal hat again. I was also informed to wear my hat if I was going to be in the sun at all until the 6 month mark. Hope this helps,
  11. Shock loss definitely sucks, I'm am getting hit pretty hard at the moment and I had mine done exactly 21 days ago. I definitely have less hair than I had pre-op and am losing more as I speak
  12. I'm really not for sure about their reputation, but go to a dr that does have a good reputation. It's really not much more expensive at all and for such a big investment, especially with the travel re-imbursements and rooms that the Drs offer.
  13. So the faster it sheds, the quicker it will start growing in?
  14. I have started shedding the past few days. I still have some of the transplanted hair, but it has began falling out pretty quickly. Darn lol
  15. How is your donor area? I really don't think it would take a whole lot to fix that. There are doctors that have done many successful repair jobs.
  16. Definitely try the propecia and rogaine to see if it helps out first. Many times people regrow the hair and maintain it, and never have to go the transplant route. Most people want to go with the fue route when they first research getting hair transplants, but you need to try medicine first and if it continues to get worse, than look into the FUT route.
  17. One of the first things people want to do when researching to get a HT is to find the best deal. The way you should do it is get a list of all the best Dr's, and then you can make a decision based on price, etc.
  18. H&W has the best reputation for doing those massive sessions like that. Either one of the two doctors would be willing to take such a challenge and you couldnt go wrong with either.
  19. Both of those guys are great choices. I recently had one done with Dr Wong, but there were also patients there that I talked to that were very happy about have Dr. Hasson. It would be hard to find a better staff than H&W, but thats my opinion of course!
  20. Cim, have you had any shedding yet? Today is my 2 weeks post up. So we are pretty close together on this thing lol
  21. Also I forgot to add that FUT would probably be the best way for you to go, if your donor area does in fact turn out to be suitable for a large amount of grafts
  22. From those 2nd set of pictures you posted, I also believe you would be a good candidate. Hasson and Wong is hard to go wrong with and I recently had one done with Dr Wong that was over 4000 grafts. Definitely don't be afraid to travel, as they will pay for a lot of your plane ticket and a place to stay for a couple of nights.
