  1. I am not taking it wrong either and thanks for the response... He operates a lot of Patients and i have seen some of them in person.. He does a neat job indeed...
  2. yeah its not a mature hairline.... I have confirmed it ,, even the surgeon..... Surgery was with a Reputed Hair transplant Surgeon....Not so Famous on the Internet though.... He prescribed me fin...
  3. My left temple was wierd.... It was eating up my Self Confidence and happiness....I don't feel like going out .... Socialising....Joining Get Togethers, PArtiesss...etc So i took the Plunge Yeah Family History of course plays a part... More Chances to get it From Maternal Side....You are not going to Bald if none in the Family has hairloss I Observed it Myselves
  4. A quick Post... Well i'm 23 and Balding.... Below are my Pics... I'm 6 weeks Post Op ... 700 Grafts FUE on either temples.. That's me Everyone Keeps their NW 1 hairline on Dad's Side.... I am following my Maternal Grandpa's Path... I think he is a NW2 Anterior.. My Elder brother is showing no signs of Balding  Guy who gave me the Gene  He Died at 68... But kept that Hairline.... Crown was'nt balding.. So here's the question... Would there be enough Donor Hair to cover that Balding area with a Decent density .. Bcoz i'am already on the HT Route And If so how many Grafts would be required?? PS : My Grandpa is the Baldest Guy in the Family...... No Advanced Class
  5. MY FAMILY BALDING HISTORY The Advanced Balding one's in our Family are from Maternal Grandma's side... I Hope I DONT inherit genes from them. I Lost my Temple Hair All of a Sudden say within 2-3 weeks... There were no Miniaturisation... I Could Barely do anything  After 1.5 yrs of research I Took the Plunge bcoz everyday i woke up I feel Depressed about the loss .. I was losing myself... People loved me because of my Funny nature and Personality ... But after that i was a bit gloomy and avoided Social events... They had no Idea what was happening but some of them did point it out.. So i decided to do Something about it ... The procedure was 700 Grafts FUE from a Surgeon not so popular on Intenet.. But i have seen patients in person and he Indeed does a good job... He was also Cheap only 35 Rs per Graft.. ie Might be about 800 USD A Slight Bit of Miniaturisation on Right Temple.... Sorry For the Poor Image Quality.. It was taken from my Mob I['m now 20 Days Post op.. and I Have started Losing Some of the Transplanted Hairs... There were no shock loss.... It was not Densely Packed only 50 Grafts/cm2 ... We asians have less Density than Caucasiancs .. phew saves money .. Also Dr recommended that Somewhat balding look at temples would give a natural appearance.. So here's my master Plan if I start to Bald Aggresively I Will Trim my Hair to a grade 2 and hit the Gym.... Else i Can start moving on like my Good Olden Days... BTW i'm 22 years old moving on to 23 ..Pretty young to Have an HT... Shaving head is not a choice and is not Accepted in this society. That's why i chose the HT Route 1 Last question would there be any permanent scar on the Recipient side... Blade used was 1.2mm ... I'm asking this because if baldness progresses rapidly i want to shave of the Transplanted area else it would look unnatural.....
  6. Use Fin only if you see Miniaturisation beyond Norwood 2 ... Its not that Bad.. But it aint goodd... Minox always fucks your hairline if you have lots of Miniaturisation... Trust me... Use it only if you plan it to use for a long term... Applying it daily is such a pain
  7.

In my case i Did about 6 months of research..... Here are a List of things which i Did.... which you must also consider b4 commiting for an HT

    1) I Entirely checked the Family tree on Both My mothers and fathers for the presence of that Fucking Balding Gene.. And its sure it comes mostly from Your Mom's Side.. But in rare cases like yours i dont know exaclty... The sad thing is my Dad's side has 0 Balding History :-( ... In my mothers side Grandpa was a Norwood 3 when he died at 68.. Maternal Uncles are Norwood 2 and 2.5 .. They might be also heading towards grandpa... So not that much of a balding history....

The reason I took the risk was i Noticed that my uncles developed similar Hairline like mine during their 20's and maintained that to an age of about 43...

    2) Monitor your hairloss .. I know it gives a Cold Feet when you see More Hairs while you brush.. Confirm that hairline has not receded for atleast 2 months... And check for Miniaturisation... I Had a Little Miniaturization on left temple which i cut with my Scissors b4 going for HT... He Implanted there too :-D

    3) Chose the Surgeon that meets your Requirements... The Costly ones are not always the best.

Try to meet Some patients in person... I have a friend in this forum who have done HT from Delhi... If your Interested let me know... Prepare a Master Plan ( My plan is if the Balding gets worse i would just shave of the area where new hairs are transplanted.. and I would look like just another balding guy... I hope its does not happen in my case though.).. Since you are in my same situation i highly recommend FUE.... It allows you to cut hair short because once you move from Norwood 2 to a higher scale short hair always looks good

Finally its your choice You can either accept Going bald and Move on (Saves a lot of Money) or chose the HT route...

Take your Decision only by Considering points 1 & 2 .. Bcoz you dont wanna end up being fucked...

And if You are opting for Surgery Never Dense Pack the temples... A Somewhat Balding look will give you a Natural Appearance

Feel Free to ask if You have any Doubts..

    Regards

  8. Heloo Critikal dont know what your name exactly is... But would you mind putting up some of your photos

  9. Norwood II ... Yep That's where i am right Now and i'm 22 I Think the Mature Hairline Myth is somewhat true... I Had a NW 1.5 hairline before but Last year i noticed Certain Changes in my body... My beard got thicker and the funny mustache changed into a somewhat stronger one... My chest hair creeped up a bit.. also Noticed Thicker Hair in my Hands and Legs... Overall i was feeling like being a MAN  But what just collapsed me was My Hairline Receding:eek: .. Last August I was losing Considerable amount of Hair at temples.... Freaked out I went and Consulted a Derm... He was NW 7 .. He just smiled and Prescribed me Biotin Lotion... Significantly it had no effect on My Hairline but it did improve the overall quality and Texture of my Hair  Since then i have been a Constant lurker on Forums freaking out my selves certain days.. I Started Noticing my colleagues hairlines... Everyone had almost similar Hairlines... But 2 of them had a Thick Juvenile Hairline.. They didn't have Manly Characteristics (No beard, chest hair, Mustache) and I Usually tease them being Feminine... Now the Tables have Turned now as we are NW2 our Hair styling Options are Limited ... Combover Sucks.. They Still Have those thick and Dense Hair with no Recession (NW 1 maybe). Lucky fella's... There's No Hairloss now... 5 -10 Hairs a day... I now have a plan to monitor my Hairline for 3 years and if it doesn't recede then I Would Probably Restore to a Strong NW 1... Someone Please clear this.. Does Having an HT ruin your eligibility for Future Treatments (Like adreans, Histogen etc) I am considering this serious because they looks promising at least Adreans.. And If Some PGD2 Inhibitor is going to halt Baldness within 3-4 years then every1 can be an HT regardless of the age factor. Baldness would be History then The only Way my Hair Loss neat is when it is cut short... It would have looked better if i had a Widows Peak .Could Sport a Pierce Brosnan Hairstyle...
  10. But in Case of FUE there are scars too.... Shaving Down to Grade 0 would Draw Attention
  11. .. I Myself 22 NW2 ... ...Lost Some hair b/w 20-21.. No hairloss Now.....No Balding history running on Father's Side.. Believe it or not My Dad and Uncles are NW1... yeah thats it NW1!!! I Probably Inherited Genes from My Mom's Side.. Both Uncles Receeded to NW2 at their 20's.. and is pretty Much Same Now at 54 and 48 age.. Some slight Recession maybe but not a NW3 for sure... My Maternal Grandpa was a NW 3 when he died at 71... No History of Vertex Thinning Ever on Both Sides of Family... I Pretty Much resemble the hairlines of My Uncles My Older brother (26) still have no Recession.. Lucky Fella.. I'm now Looking for a 800 Graft Strip to Create a Nice Hairline ,a Mature one.... Because I'm now Low on Confidence and Self Esteem.. I think of Going for an HT without taking meds... Using Minox Twice daily would make my Life More Miserable than as it's now... And the Initial shed is something which i cant think about... Propecia has never done to Anything on Temples...So Dat woud be Of No USe... Attached Fotos --------------- 1st one My Maternal Uncle's hairline(54 Years Old) 2nd and 3rd Mine.. I'am Considering a Conservative approach. Not Lowering but creating a Strong hairline ..Temple closure on my Right Temple was always Thin when compared to Other Temple.. Maybe Fix that too.. And yeah I've been Researching and Lurking Forums for the Past Year.... And Since Now My hairloss has stabilised for Past year I am really Looking Forward to get this Done... Would Greatly Help My Depressed Mind And if Some Cure Comes within 5-10 Years:rolleyes: (Histogen,PGD2,etcc) then I Would Reconstruct Mine to a Juvennile One.. Being Optimistic Would Need Some Feedback from experts. Especially from those Who have Undergone HT's at Young age(before 25)... Also Shaving Down to level 0 is Out of Question.. I have Done it Once at 19 (Not because of recession ) and Does'nt Look Good.. Actually Looked Like a Gangster... And even my relatives (Mom too) didn't like it... Also Sporting a Bald Head is Uncommon in place where i live...
  12. sharan9895

Now that's a great Result Indeed... Impressive Transformation...Now You would be Looking atleast 10 years less... And thanx for the Feedback on My Fotos... How's the Scar Healing and How Long is it?? How Long Did to Take for You To recover and Lead Your Normal Life After the HT??
  13. So All these days we Believed DHT was the Culprit Now Its PGD2 .... After 2 Years It Might be Something else.... Would there be a Cure for Baldness ever in my Lifetime.. BTW i'am 22 NW2 with asymmetrical Temples  , Never been on any Medications

Have your Face Swollen after the HT?
  15. Could You Pls Suggest a Good Trichologist in Cochin for Consultation... ( Hari Menon?? )

From the Fotos i think he has Done an impressive Job.. Check out the 800 Graft Fut Performed

    http://www.cosmeticsurgerycochin.com/hair-transplant-Kerala-pictures-photos.html

From the Forums and Lil Research i think Pathuri Madhu is better than Radha... Not Sure...:-)

Did you experience Intense Shedding at First Using Minox.. Thats my Worst Nightmare :-(

Sorry For Bothering You.. So what do you Do?

  16. Have you Performed the HT??

Kindly Upload Some of Your Photos..

I am 22 .. Have Minoxidil Helped in Retaining What You Had?.. Were there any side Effects??

Lost Some hair Over 2 years rather Gradual...Very much Depressed Now... Considering an HT with Hari Menon.. Mailed Him and Got Reply 50k including all tests and other Expenses for 800 Grafts... A Conservative one ... 800 Grafts Would be More than Enough Considering my Hair (Semi Curly) and Thick one...

I'm sure would need an Another HT at 27-29... Mentally Prepared for that... :-)

Don't Mind Going Bald after 35 which almost everyone in Kerala is so... Also Taking a liitle risk

bcoz Not Much Balding History in both sides of the Family..

  17. Sorry to bother you Guys again.. But I am in a Confused State Now.. Need Some Advice.. I'm 22 Old and B/w NW 1-2.... Always had a NW1 During Teenage.. Contacted Dr Pathuri Madhu and Discussed about My Situation and Details He assured that 800 Graft FUT would Restore my Hairline to Normal Considering my Stress and Depressed state.. he Recommended Using Medical Treatments Though.. Just had Some Research.. Sorry if i'm Wrong... Its said that these Bad genes are Inherited From Mothers Side.. (Grandfather)... My Paternal Grandfather wasn't Bald till he was 50.. and During his 70 he might be a NW 3-4... My Dad is not Bald Not even my Uncles On my mothers Side Grandfather was NW 3 From a Photgraph i saw when he was around 45... And he Was like that till his Oldage ... Even My Uncles on Mothers side are NW 3... Both of them... So My Question is This ... Is it Safe to Undergo a Hairtransplant Now?? Will i get more worser than My Grandpa and Uncle.. ie Beyond NW 3.... If no then i Think i can get a HT now:)... else CONFUSED  I Might be between NW 1-2 now... I always had a High Forehead.. But now with this Recession i feel So Depressed... No HairFall Now .. Stabilised.... But Read that stress may make Ur Baldness Worse... If i Dont get an HT now I Would be Stressed throughout just like now.. What Should i Do... Afraid of Taking Minoxidil as Some Guys Lost their Existing Hair Permanently.. I cant even think of that.
  18. Bad?? Quality/Hairline 1000 Grafts?? Are you Sure?? .. I am not Intending to Reconstruct a Juvenile Hairline.. Just Lower the Line to Certain Extent.....
  19. But not in my Case though:(..... I can Feel Hair Thinning at temples..... Since now i have a large amount of Donor hair it would be easy to get back a dense Hairline.. Also I can Start using MIniDoxil to Retain my Existing hair... I Dont Care Going Bald After 35 .. But now a little bit Stressed.... Doesn't feel like going out or Mingling with Friends..... My Estimate is that i Would Require atleast 700-800 Grafts to reconstruct temple... That would be Around 40,000 INR Which my Dad have agreed upon... Consider me as a young guy and pls stop comparing with men about 40 years old who is NW 5,6....
  20. Scared a bit now.. My mom's side has Baldness History... My Both Uncles 52 and 45 aged (Mom's younger and Elder brother) are NW 3 Now.... They might had my hairline at the age of 28-30... Has hair trasnplantaion to do anything with Age?? Also hear that Planted Hairs are Anti-DHT.. is it True??
  21. I have thick hair Elsewhere..... And there is no Hairloss now... Does'nt know if there is any miniaturisation..... I'm only 22 Years old... As you can see That Hairline Just Sucks at my age... :-(
  22. Kindly Suggest me a Good Surgeon in India(AS I AM FRM india)... How Much Graft will i need to Restore the Hairline to a Matured One.... And What is the Cost per Graft (FUE)...
  23. Got a Doubt.. Just searched Internet and Found that One Must Minidoxil Till he Wants to retain Hair (That Suxx) .. Once You Stopped Using it You would Lose More Hair within 6-12 Months - Kindly Clear this.. And About Propecia - It has got History of Making Users Impotent (That would Be more Depressing than Going Bald)
