Hello, I'm having surgery on my arm in a few weeks. The Dr. Told me I need to stop taking all vitamins for 2 weeks. I just remembered I use rogaine twice a day. Anybody know if I need to stop taking it?? Thanks

Thanks for the response back. I'm 30, I was on propecia for a couple years and ditched the drug due to the sexual side effects. Im kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place. I have a high hair line that I brush down in bangs concealing a poor hairline from a prior procedure. I'm ok with keeping this hairstyle from here on out. Basically I want more density in the front third of my head. But, I fear the potential shock loss and making a bad situation worse. Also, I don't have the leisure of a 4 month vaca from work. I'm trying to do this without telling the world I had a HT! So the shave down scares me bc I rely on my long hair to hide the pitting, scars etc. I'm just trying to make an inform decision. Def a tough spot haha

They aren't showing up on my end. If your only 3 mos post op it's going to be inconclusive. I'm no doctor but I think your going to have to wait a few more months to see results. I remember I started noticing hair growth about 4-5 months later but I knew I made a mistake. My graphs were kinda spaced out and in fact when it was all said and done i was right. Good luck though

Regret it 110% should have just shaved it off and been done with it. I wished I came across this site in 2006-2007 when I was researching it. Had a poor surgery by an incompetent Dr. That almost put me into the nut house. I suffer everyday. Its not that bad now cause I can conceal with my daily hr. hair routine. but I fear the future. It's just really sucks. I appreciate this site so I can vent to people that understand and have walked in my shoes. Just hope I can rectify my situation someday. Just don't know if I have the guts to go through it again . Cheers

i think it depends if its caked on your scalp I would say you probably have to remove it. I know it's a pain. I use both also. I use mostly the fibers in the front third of my head and comb them in while using a Thickening hair spray. I try to get them on the hair rather than sitting on my scalp.. It's a process. Sometimes they end up on the crown on my head. I usually apply rogaine over it depending how much is already there. It usually just flakes off.

I'm taking a trip and was wondering if anybody had a problem with getting hair fibers on a plane through security? Ridiculous question I know. Stuff looks like gun powder haha

does anybody know or have experienced a hair transplant repair? does the Dr. have to shave off the old plugs to add more implants for density? Or can they be added around your exiting hair?

Hello, I need help. I had a Ht from dr. Pistone about 5 yrs ago and I never been satisfied with my results. My Hair looks pluggy and bumpy in the light. I use nanogen fibers to conceal it. But I'm tired of the routine. Anybody know a Dr that can help me in the pa nj ny area.
