Alright guys, here are some better pics, I can't help but think that I haven't made much progress from where I was 9 months back.
These were taken just after I had applied minoxidil.
The entire set of pics is here - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/user_album_update.php?album_id=2390

This is very good. Another example of how good characterstics help out. You have dark skin and dark hair, and the match works well, even if density is not high.
Thanks for the reply.
I agree the 'match' does help, although I am looking for higher density as well.

@1978matt, @GNX1
Thanks for the reply, I will take some more pics and post again.

Hey all!
It's been exactly 9 months today since my HT.
Here is my last thread - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/166895-did-finally.html
I am not really able to make up my mind about the result, although I can still feel (with the finger tips) that some hair are still growing.

Looks very good, I think having darker skin color and dark hair will improve the result.
Thanks KO. I hope so!

Hi clayman.
I'm thinking dr Radha too. Can you tell me please if she performs the whole transplant he self?
Thanks
Hi wadenwa,
I would suggest going through the several reviews posted by Dr. Radha's patients, I think that would help you immensely.
To answer your question btw, no she doesn't, it's not practically possible for just one person to sit and transplant each graft, every doctor needs a team and Dr. Radha has a great team to assist her. Dr. Radha though is present during the entire duration of the surgery and does only one HT per day.
-
Its come along great....just need more time now.
Thanks!
I know, waiting is no fun though...But the time shall pass by !
-
Thanks 362guy.
I cut my hair after around 15 days of the HT, that time scar was visible. But once the hair grew, no one has been able to notice the scar. It has been healing very well, I guess a little redness is there which should go away with time.
-
Good luck oncled!
You will be in good hands, don't worry
-
Possible that some of your grafts just didn't fall out? That is definately the case with me.
The size of the grafted hair was much bigger, if you zoom into the pic probably you'll see them much clearly, you'll see very minute hair and I think they are the new hair 'popping' out..
-
So here are the pics after around 45 days of my HT.
It seems as if some hair has started to 'pop' through! Can see very small hair in the front and can feel similar hair in the crown. Kinda happy as I wasn't expecting any growth before 4 months
But I still look bald Hopefully the pictures will be much better after 7/8 months time!

Thanks for your reply Spanker.
I thought as much, I can't see the hair in the crown area (even in pics) but I can feel them. I must say I was a li'l surprised, wasn't expecting anything before 4 months!

Congrats newguyintown!!!! Looks amazing so far - thanks for sharing. I'm also considering a HT with Dr. Radha and have similar hair loss to you. I haven't seen any mega sessions (correct me if I'm wrong) done by Dr. Radha +4000 grafts in one session which is what I'm looking for hmmm.....I'm curious about how many grafts you got?
Cheers and happy growing!
Thanks 362guy!
I received 3090 grafts but that was because that's all my donor area permitted
Am not sure about the megasessions, surely she can do it. Have you enquired with her?
-
I had my HT around 45 days back with Dr. Radha, as with all her patients am sure she will take very good care of you.
Do have a lookie at my thread/albums if you want to know how was my experience with Dr. Radha.
http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/166895-did-finally-1.html
Good luck!!

So it's been around 40 days since I had my HT and I just noticed some very very tiny hair in the transplanted area on my head. Is this for real? I can't see them properly in the mirror, but can feel a lot of them with the fingers. I am confused!
I am tomorrow going to try and post some pics here. Meanwhile anyone has any idea what could it be?
-
We were not able to cover the entire crown area, just one part of it during my HT But that will vary for you as your donor area characteristics will be different than mine.
Am not sure of Dr. Radha's FUE work but since I wanted to have better 'return' rates I opted for FUT. The scar isn't that big an issue for me and you get scars with FUE too just that they differ from the one that you get with FUT. In my opinion FUT is a better choice for having such coverage. Go through the various posts on this forum and other resources, research, take doctors' opinions and then decide.

I noticed Madhu and Radha Rani patients stop posting after surgery. I'm talking about the majority. I don't know why? Especially Dr. Radha Rani patients like: Hiflyer, AllAboutHair, RodG, vizagdiary233, hair4ever, Rockstar, Atul, Tuja, Clayman and lionman??? I have no clue why??? The only who posted his results in greatness is CARDEL25.
Hey Hey
I am still here Just lying dormant for a while, have entered the 'waiting period' so gotta wait it out! But am here to help in any way I can.
-
have you got her email address? i am very close to booking with either her or dr.humayun of pakistan - really would like to see results of dr.r first though.
Her email address is available on her website Radha International Institute of Hair Transplant you can directly post a query from the website if you wish to. In fact you could just pick up the phone and call her and I am sure she would be happy to talk to you.
-
I would recommend Dr. Radha any day over the other two. I am sure you have read the posts about her and she is also recommended by this forum.
Good luck!
-
I would definitely vote for Dr. Radha having had a HT done with her, its been only a month and a few days though so can't really comment on the long term results. I have been regularly updating, uploading the pics etc.
I understand there are a few people who had done their HT with Dr. Radha and provide updates regularly (like RodG). But its true that there are hardly any people here who can provide with the long term results.
But then again Dr. Radha is a recommended doctor and am sure she must have done things right to get recommended here
Good luck!

I very recently had an HT and I have uploaded a few pics after buzzing my hair with #1. The pics are post 20 days of my HT and I think the scar looks ok. Not very noticeable.
Have a lookie here - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/user_album_update.php?album_id=1753

Hey all,
Just posted a few pics of how the head looks 20 days after the HT.
Overall it looks pretty decent to me, I just wish I had a got a few more grafts from the donor strip and that way I would have been able to cover almost the entire crown area too.
Anyway, tell me how does it look?
Here's a link to the pics - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/user_album_update.php?album_id=1753

Thanks so much Hairybaldy!
I already had a look at that link but somehow it didn't seem feasible. Although what I did was cut my other hair to match the size of the hair in the donor area and it didn't look half as bad as I expected!
I wasn't much worried about the scar showing, so went ahead with the cut. People at work did ask me about the scar and I told them I had a small surgery for skin infection with very severe dandruff
Thanks again!
