  2. I'm just approaching five months post op, what is a realistic expectation at this point? I do have growth but are things only really beginning at this point? So many conflicting reports!
  3. Def agree there's no definitive parameter with growth - keep your mind off it and evaluate at 9-12 months
  4. Hi Jimmy, I believe once its grown in completely I wont need toppik for example, Im early days so want to use it on the transplanted area but not sure how safe it is - yeah I looked at smp not too sure about it as you have to go once a year to have it redone

After living under a hat for months I could pretty much get away with a little toppik on the recipient area,hair is growing in but a little more sparse than my native hair so the toppik would blend it. Im a bit reluctant incase it halts growth, Id be washing it out everyday however. Has anyone used toppik post op and had good results? As you can see from the pic the contrast between transplanted hair and native so really to blend this

  11. Think you have to give it the full year or at least 9 months - I'm 4 1/2 months and seeing a difference, all different rates -

  15. I didnt - they literally brought this in a week after my op, Im not sure if its a big benefit?
  16. Jonny - yes I'd say it is its just so slow you don't notice - Jonny drama, appreciate that pal, yes Def hardest few months, seems to be lasting a life time! I do have growth so it's a start
  17. Is this genuinely good at this stage/ I'm a little disappointed to be honest, I'm not overly optimistic
  18. Hi Pal - Im not entirely sure, but this was the graft breakdown - Grafts have 1-haired:735, grafts have 2-haired:840 and grafts have 3-haired:404. Total is 1979 grafts.
  19. really surprised to hear patients being knocked out, I know a lot myself included that weren't even given the option

  21. Hi Mate, I had motorized extraction, not sure if it makes much difference, I expected more at this stage but am I being silly?
  22. You must be unrealistic like me to then Jonny! Most say its really only starting now, considering my temples were bald think its pretty good so early
