  1. Just to add we focused on the frontal half and a little of the hairline.
  2. Yes I do runs in the family luckily. I feel all the prickly hairs coming through, but I'm hoping there's a lot more to come considering it's only been 3 months.
  3. Thanks. 2nd surgery down the road for sure, but just at 3 months which is really nothing...... impressed so far.
  4. It's been a while since I've been on here, but I just wanted to post my 3 month update. I know growing hasn't really took a toll yet but some of the tranplanted hairs I think luckily stayed. Dr. Panine 3700 grafts. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks! The 3 month pics were taken with a smartphone that has a very bright LED flash.
  5. It's nearly impossible to achieve your pre loss days. Do more research. It's the best decision I've ever made, but getting back to where you were when you were 16 is just not possible yet...
  6. So how long did it take for the redness of the scar to go away. It's been 3 weeks since surgery??
  7. Hey guys, So I'm almost 2 weeks post op. How much pressure should I be using at this point while shampooing? There's some scabbing going on. Should I apply more pressure when shampooing? Currently I'm GENTLY shampooing in a circular motion.
  8. Hi Guys, Thought I would post a couple pics before and after. I'm 4 days post op feel good. We didn't have to do to much with the hairline, just bulk it up! The crown will be addressed in Rd. 2 just too much area to cover with 1 procedure. Everything looks great. Dr. Panine and his staff are excellent! Feedback would be appreciated. Thx. Alot of hairloss to be addressed, but the front half should look very nice after the 1 yr mark. Sorry the Pre Op pic is a little blurry.
  9. Thx for the reply. So if this does happen it is temporary? So basically the implanted hairs could and will fall out? The actual follicle stays healthy and hair growth will come?
  10. Hey Guys, Can someone please explain to me this whole "shockloss" talk? How common is it? Is there a way to prevent it? Is it permanent? HT scheduled for near future worried about this. Please educate me on this! Thanks
  11. Yeah me and Dr. Panine will get a nice game plan together. We'll see what we come up with.
  12. Hi there, Well we are starting at 3000-3500 grafts hoping he can definitely be more on the 3500+ side. Hoping for a nice result. Understanding a 2nd op will be needed for what I would like to achieve. I'm hoping to see good results from the 1st op. Any advice?
  13. Yes sir! Great guy! HT scheduled for Apr. 24 2012. Can't wait! Have you met with Dr. Panine?
  14. Yeah guys not expecting a full head of hair after my first procedure or ever. Just was wondering if I could achieve descent coverage? A good result?
  15. Hey Guys, Can you look at my profile and tell me from my pre op pics what to expect? I understand for max results I'm at least a 2 op patient. Would appreciate it! 3000-3500 grafts FUT.....Dr. Panine
  16. Hello, Just wanted to say hello to everyone as I just joined the community. I have a scheduled HT scheduled with Dr. Panine out here in Chicago. I've been doing research on this topic for about 8 years. I'm finally completely ready. I had my first consultation with Bosley who I see does not have the best reviews at about 23 yrs old and did not go through with it. I'm 30 years old now and cannot wait. Any advice tips. Was also thinking Dr. Konior, but felt very comfortable with Stuart and the consultation, and after seeing alot of Dr. Panine's work very impressed. Any advice, suggestions what to expect. I would appreciate it. Thanks
