  1. Hi Jacob, One thing that's good for you is that you are so young. I live in a major city, in a highly populated area, with lots of young people 21-30 yo - so I see literally hundreds of people every day. And one thing I notice about guys in their 20s with hair loss is that they look pretty good as long as they are: a) fit /toned/in-shape and/or a little bit muscular (don't overdo it with pumping iron, that is even worse) b) fairly tan (don't need to look like George Hamilton, but at least not chalk white skin) c) they have short hair (not shaved, but meaning buzzed to a #1, #2 or #3 with clippers) I see tons of guys fitting this description above at the gym, and I would say they really look no different than young guys who have hair. In fact, I think some of these guys are even better looking, because being fit causes you to see the bone structure in your face, which makes almost anyone better looking. I'm not suggesting you should totally go out and change your lifestyle, or give up your hair maintenance. But you definitely should think about living healthy, and having a good diet, because that is a huge part of looking-good for a guy who has less hair, IMO. Also, I'm not sure how much you care about women, maybe you already have a GF or whatever, but I recall two of the most attractive women I knew in my 20s were especially attracted to bald men, particularly guys who were other wise healthy and in shape.
  2. Hi Folks, I am noticing that after using Propecia 1mg for about 10 years now, it is beginning to use its efficacy. Any suggestions? I have heard Dut is a good next move, but I've also heard some *horror* stories. I have no sides from Fin that I am aware of (although I lift weights at the gym, so the added testosterone may be masking any sexual sides.) Some background and experience: a) I am nearly 38 yo. b) began having a receding hairline around 22 yo c) Began Propecia around age 26-27 (1999) d) I never took any other treatments The last year: a) hair loss at the hairline has been consistent over the last 10 years or so, but slow b) I am around NW 2-3 c) I have no hair loss at the crown (that I can notice) d) In the last 1.5 years the speed of hair loss at the hair line has gotten faster. Maybe 1.5 - 2X faster than it was before. Could this be from aging? Propecia stopped working? Too much weight lifting? Nothing dramatic has really changed in my lifestyle in the last 1.5 years. If anything, I have had less stress. The only minor changes are: a) I began working from home from a laptop (I'm less active during the day, but still lift weights at night) b) I have worked out with heavier weights (more testosterone = more DHT?) (I do not use any steroids or any workout supplements - once in a blue moon I have a protein shake) c) I began getting lazy about taking propecia at the same time each day. I have not missed any days, but sometimes I take it in the morning, and sometimes at night. d) No other lifestyle changes that I can think of. e) Beginning two weeks ago, I started using Kirkland Minox 5% and S5 Sprio (once/day, at hair line and temples only) Thanks, Sugar
  3. Oops, this should be filed under "non-surgical." I am retarded. Trying to move it now.
  4. It costs the doctors money to be recommended on here? That's kind of troubling. Conflict of interest, no?
  5. Thanks, el nino. Your HT results are unbelievable! Very nice.

  7. Thanks, guys. I really appreciate this insight. I will consult with Dr Feller, Rahal, SMG. Maybe Dr Bisanga, but he would have to be an order of magnitude better for me to go outside North America.
  8. Yes, I have looked at his web site for over an hour. If I can be convinced he is better suited for me than any North American doctor, then I will go there. However, Belgium is far away.
  9. Thanks, fellas. Yes Hariri, I understand the FUE extraction sites are much less visible than FUT strip scars. I want FUE in case I will buzz off all my hair one day. That day may be a long day away, but I want to consider the future. Thanks, Sugar
  10. Thanks, Hariri. Based on research I've done over the last month or so, I also have Dr. Feller on my list. I am also thinking about Dr. Rahal and Dr. Shapiro. Artistically speaking, both have hairline photos that are unbelievable - they look almost too good to be true. Although I suspect only the patients with the best results make it into the online gallery. Thanks, Sugar
  11. Hi Folks, Not to be obnoxious with my first post, but I am a pretty straightforward guy. I am wondering who are the world's 2-3 best hair docs, considering: a) I want FUE only b) Hairline restoration is my main priority Cost of the surgery is irrelevant. I will travel anywhere in the world, although I am located on the US West Coast. Thanks! Sugar
