  1. Well done mate u choose a great team and I'm sure you'll get the results your hoping it doesn't seem like give minutes since I was in the Catalonia forum myself. Good luck Aj
  2. Hi guys sorry for not updating Well I'm booked In for January for my 300graft touch up I really appreciated all the positive comments from you guys. Its pretty hard to see in photos the areas where I feel there's room for imrovment but dr b and Stephen have seen my pics showing the thin spots and agreed that a small op would be suitable to finish off an otherwise perfect result. Don't get me wrong I'm still thrilled with the yield of my grafts in all the other areas and my hair is amazing compared to pre ht. I think this just goes to show what genuine guys dr b and Stephen are because I'm sure there's other clinics that have no Interest at all in patient aftercare these guys can 100% be trusted to have your best interests at heart Regards Aj

  4. Hi Jonny I'm going back in January for around 300 grafts to perfect my hairline ,I'm not saying I'm not happy with my progress but I think there's room for improvement ,I'm really glad I had it done though and if I could have my time again I wouldn't do anything differently and would 100% use dr Bisanga, I really can't speak highly enough of him and his team.my only regret was not getting the procedure years ago, I see your going to Belgium to see dr Bisanaga in August ,I think you've made a great decision as not only is the quality of work top notch but dr b and the team are honest and place the patients needs above profit. They also have great aftercare and will look after you after the op and be on hand to put you at ease when u get the post op jitters good luck Andy
  5. I would strongly urge you to contact dr Bisanga via his rep Stephen who I've always found quick to respond with informative answers to the countless questions I bombarded him with before and post my hair transplant. Dr Bisanga in my opinion is a genius and I've looked at thousands of results over the last few years whilst researching for my op and found no one to be more consistent with not only results but also patient aftercare, Aj
  6. Othersyde ... I love that pic comparison I almost fell over laughing. I thought you were gonna say elvis When I say a second procedure I mean a tweek really. You see my hairline isn't actually as straight as that photo suggests I'm involved in the hair industry so I'm pretty good at getting my style looking great. Even when I had recessed temples I used to cover it quite well I could have gone more aggressive with my ht but the doc wanted to Take a precautionary route and to be honest I'm glad he did because I've got a great result from so few grafts. In hindsight though I could have gone straighter and lower because I've responded well and the grafts yeilded nicely .although if things hasn't gone so well the lower hairline would have given me problems to make cosmetically acceptable. So in my long winded way of saying it I'm happy with the way we've approached my journey And yes I guess it is a little hair greed Ps sorry for the grammar (iPhone)
  7. Hi guys Quick update I'm almost at the one year mark, I'm going to see the doc again in may for a consultation to discuss my result and potential second procedure. I've grown my hair quite long now and style it in a fifties style quiff, I've had loads of compliments about my hair just lately and I'm pretty thrilled I went ahead with it. As I've said before dr Bisanga is top notch and his team provide a top quality customer service. Pic of today's style attached Regards AJ
  8. Hi I had shock after my fue procedure too,it was very Stressful until my wife applied eye shadow to the area It completely disguised it.It took around 5 months to fully Return but by that point my recip was growing and I soon forgot About it. Good luck Aj
  9. just under 9 months, last pic is me pre op in 2010 oct 10 2.bmp
  10. Hi ice I understand how you feel I was 18ish when my hair started receding I'm 30 now and with propecia rogaine and a Ht I've got a decent head of hair , try to stay positive in 6 months you could have massive improvement from the fin
  11. Thanks for all the compliments guys I'll take some outdoor pics when I get chance
  12. Hi Guys im at the 7 month stage, im pretty happy overall. There are areas that could be better but thats just me being a perfectionist.I had my donor shaved down to a grade 1 and in my opinion it looks like i havent had any work.Ive attached some pics of the donor with and without flash.im still happy i had it done at would highly reccomend Dr Bisanga and his team.
  13. Hi magnum I can post some more pics is there any particular shots you'd like to see?
  14. Hi richfrog I got your pm but can't reply on my iPhone I'll send u a reply when I'm back in the office but in awnser to you question yeah mate that will be fine I'm more than happy to meet so you can take a look at the work
  15. hi heres some pics, my hair looks grey in the pics but its matte wax, i havent noticed any further growth but my hairs so long now its difficult to see my left side is much weaker than my right so hopefull it catches up over the next 5 months, ill be meeting the doc and stephen from bhr in febuary by then i should hope to have a little more density ,but overall im still glad i did it and wish id done it sooner regards aj
  16. Hi magnum What I mean is you can't expect a Ht to ever replace the density you once had it's not possible to replicate nature.but if you have realistic goals then you will be happier when your result grows in for me it's all about framing my face that was my priority if I have no2 and I'm not in any rush to do so I'd touch up where my loss has progressed I'm going to treat my donor very preciously and not get carried away Im aware that I'll may continue to lose some more native especially in the frontal 3rd where fin is less effective ,Im looking at the next 10 years also
  17. Thanks riloal Yeah I guess you could say that Im beating mother nature. it's a constant battle though but I assume I would be quite receeded now if not for meds and surgery. It comes down to what you can reasonably achieve and being happy with it, Ive accepted that I'm never gonna have my original hair from when I was 18 back but it's all about having realistic expectations
  18. Hi muddy ,yeah got your pm but it won't let me reply with my iPhone I'll pm you when I get in the office, cost wise bhr charge €5 per graft upto 1000 grafts €3 per graft after that unless they have changed there prices since April
  19. Thanks Chrisdav Your looks great too, did you notice any further improvement after month 5? I'm just wandering if ill get any more hairs shooting or if it will just be a case of the hairs i have thickening up and maturingl
  20. :)Thanks and yeah im pretty thrilled mate i couldnt have imagined id get a result like this. My mate had two pretty poor yeilding ops so i was quite sceptical about the whole ht industry. In hindsight knowing that my yeild has been great so far i would have been less conservative and lowered a little further, it just means ill be back to brussels in a year for no2,I dont really need to but i feel that ive done the hard part so why not seek perfection and have my dream hairline. But ive gotta say Dr Bisanga is a really ethical honest doctor he had my approval to prior to place as many grafts as needed but he also took a conservative approach to my design rarther than maximise the extractions and increase my costs, to be fair i had quite a large area and only 1300 grafts taking that into account hes worked magic in my opinion.
  21. Hi Guys, I thought id let u all know how im getting on Well at this stage im pretty happy with how things are turning out.I can style my hair so easily now i no longer need to use any toppik. My face is framed and it has improved my overall feeling of hapiness more than i thought possible, my confidence has improved and i feel great. The only negative really is that i cant stop looking at my hair in the mirror it just doesnt seem like me staring back. I had receeded temples from 19 and hair loss really did limit my enjoyment of life throught my twenties,i wish now id had a procedure 5 years ago. the pics are 10 weeks(ish) post op and 5 months 11 days ,some pics are dry with wax and the other ones are wet from the shower and combed back to expose the hair line ,if you want anymore pics just ask and im happy to provide. Also im happy to meet any potential Dr Bisanga patients im from the midlands in the uk, so they can see the work in the flesh and see just how natural it looks
