I can buzz down to a number 3 and the scar can be seen only when i point it out. I have been asked if i had been wearing a cap b4 that was about 6 months after. You can not feel mine and I can tell you, You will be very happy once you have it done. Have realistic expectations and know you may have to have more then 1 surgery if you require a lot on density. I am planning on going in for a second surgery in the next 3 months. Hope this helps.

These pics are 4 1/2 months after 2000 graft transplant the right side is so much thinker then the left over all I am very happy with the results will wait till 8 months b4 making any brash statements

SO ALL GOOD DAY 7 MY SCALP STARTED TO FLAKE TODAY DAY 9 ALMOST ALL GONE. HAIR GROWING WELL. BEEN USING ROGAINE AND PROPECIA. I HOPE THE HAIR DOESNT FALL OUT BUT IT MAY! STILL VERY HAPPY WITH RESULTS FROM DR CHAO @ HAIRLAB. I HAVE BEEN BRUSHING MY HAIR FORWARD AND USING TOPIK TO HIDE SHORTER HAIR FOR WORK, EVERYONE IS "NEW HAIR STYLE LOOKS GOOD" HE SCAR AT THE BACK WAS NEVER VISIBLE EVEN AT DAY ONE.!

So day 4 a little tightness no pain. But today the swelling has moved to my eyes nothing crazy! But i do look like the kid from that movie with Cher "The Mask" not that bad but its getting better and i keep icing I should have been better with icing. I will do a list of all items you need and post it in the next couple of days. Things that should be at home already when you return from surgery!

3RD DAY ALL WELL! WASHED DONOR AREA NORMALLY. WASHED TRANSPLANTED GRAFTS WITH A MIXTURE OF SHAMPOO AND WATER AND LIGHTLY POURED OVER GRAFTED AREA. DONOR AREA STILL A LITTLE SORE NOTHING MAJOR. SWELLING 75% GONE, I KEEP MASSAGING AND ICING HEAD A FEW TIMES A DAY! I HAVE NO PICTURES OF BACK DONOR AREA AS YOU CANT SEE IT WILL HAVE A FRIEND TAKE A PIC I KEEP FORGETTING.

PICS FROM SECOND DAY AFTER SURGERY FEELING GOOD, HEAD STILL SWOLLEN TRYING TO BE GOOD ABOUT ICING IT. OVERALL NO COMPLAINTS JUST BEING CAREFUL, I WASHED HAIR AGAIN BY MIXING SHAMPOO AND WATER AND RUNNING OF GRAFTED HAIR VERY GENTLY.

Hey Moonfresh, I am pretty sure they do FUE, I was not interested in that as I have met so many people that have done strip and the scar is not that visible at all. And the price difference was pretty big. I would suggest calling Rob and speaking with him. They are not pushing at all and I found easy to talk with them. I just uploaded my pics from post op day 1......Today!!! if you want to check them out J

So today I washed the transplant area very gently by running water mixed with shampoo over the transplants but not actually touching them, and the donor area with stitches i washed normally but i was gentle, everything looks really good. My forehead is a bit swollen but no pain and I keep playing ice paks on it, the donor stitch area is a little sore but the meds are helping with that. Both Dr Chao and Rob the Business manager have both called to see how I am doing.....

I just had a procedure with Dr Chao today. 2000 grafts Prices amazing follow thru great. They are more relaxed/casual then other Dr's I met with so if you want a beverly hills experience they may not be for you. It was between Dr Diep and Dr Chao I really liked both, It came down to Dr Chao being close to where I live and a great price point. You can see my pics on my profile. I will update it every couple of days. This site and the people on it have been such an incredible community to be a part of on this journey, and I want to thank all of you. I am happy to meet or discuss the procedure i had with anyone. It was a scary step to take for me, but I actually fell asleep during the transplant so there was no need for the fear! Thanks J
