  1. Hello Everyone.. I would like to thank everyone in this forum for being unbelievably helpful.. I mean who in the world takes out some much time for a vast array of information on hair loss, hair transplants etc.. Hmm so hello all fellow baldies.. lol.. special thanks to user simplycomplicated When you arrive in Dr. Madhus clinic, You will be seated in a lounge with television screens displaying hair loss patients with video logs, and before and after pictures. Anyway, I had my consultation today with Dr. Madhu’s and his staff.. It was a very comfortable experience. Despite the fact that I have been always conscious of my hair loss I was okay with the fact that this guys were running their hands through my hair and carrying out their inspections.. To kick start off the consultation, I was required to fill in a form which was later submitted to Dr. Vijayta who carried out the initial consultation. She took time to go over all that I had filled in and we walked through the whole hair loss phenomenon and she later briefed me on the hair transplantation procedure following the inspection of my donor area. I was advised to wait outside the lounge and I was taken to Dr. Madhu. Dr. Madhu greeted me and we sat down and he started reviewing the points gathered by Dr. Vijayta and he carefully studied my donor area and estimated the no. of grafts. Following this, he drew a suitable hair line on my balding region and indicated that this would be most ideal for me to help re construct my balding region. (On a humorous note: let me frankly say at this stage, nobody else in this world including my mother apart from me has touched my hair the way that he did and I can’t believe I was able to tolerate this.. lol) I would like to also say that at this stage I am not on any sort of medication as medications as they just didn’t work but after hearing dr. madhu’s personal opinion on this matter.. I guess I will get back on these medications to retain my native hair and try and improve the overall quality of the rest of the hair. After visiting Dr. Madhu I was given a set of other forms to complete the formality.. Well that sums up the consultation phase… will post tomorrow for my latest experience … I have no pictures right now but I will be posting them in time to come Thanks...
  2. Don't worry man.. Looking at everyone's varying experiences and results.. its only a matter of time before those little critters start popping out .. its understandable that you are restless but dont worry .. "all iz well" would be pleased if you could answer the following: .. were you advised as to when you could go ahead and start trimming your hair after the HT? Do we have to wait for all the implanted grafts to fall out? or is it okay after a certain number of days? .. is it okay if we can use concealers such as Dermmatch and/or Toppik/Nanogen? The derm Match is a applicator which goes on the scalp so one may suggest not to dive into this following a HT.. but what would one reckon for the dust applicators?? Thanks once again..
  3. Hey SimplyComplicated I was reading your post and thought I should quote something you said that struck me.. ".... But I would advice any one to learn from whatever mistakes I have done and people do in general and not fall prey to this bad industry and start taking wrong medications..." It is truly an amazing experience you have shared and i am sure more than 90% of the sufferers would have definitely done all that you have mentioned. Now you say that everyone should learn from your mistakes and indeed everyone would take this comment as very welcoming one.. because it is always good to learn from someone elses experience. in any case, the reason why i pointed this out is because, those mistakes were prior to the HT.. is there anything you wish you would have had done otherwise as per your HT that you might want to share with us.. .this is for all those who have decided to take the plunge but could unquestionably benefit from your personal experience of the HT .. once again thanks for sharing your complete experience bro...
