No feeling, literally. Your recipient area is numb, and continue so for maybe the next 6 months. There are slight tingling sensation here and there. This is the least of your problems. You're more concern about making sure you don't bump your head for risk of losing grafts.

I too cannot believe he is not well known in this forum. Dr Diep is a hidden gem in the hair transplant world. Shame on this website for not noticing this doctor sooner. =P I did my FUE procedure back in December 2011 with Dr Diep, and my hair growth is coming along nicely. I owe a big thanks to Dr Diep and his staff for changing my life. His clinic is the real deal.

Based on my experience: Your donor area will fell numb for the first month. The first two weeks, your donor area will feel sore. When you sleep on your pillow, your head feels like a metal plate. Tingling did not occur for me.

Dude. Calm down and relax. There is hope. I was in the same boat as you when I was 21. Don't let hair dictate the way you live your life. Your 21 and in a few years, you'll be working and making the big paychecks to save for a transplant. Some will say go on the pills, but it won't help on the hairline. If it still bothers you that much, save your money and plan for FUE procedure. I'm 34 and wish I had done my procedure sooner. But hair transplant technology has gotten better in recent years. Doing my procedure was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. And someday, you can experience this too. So hang in there. -
