  1. Yes, I went to the same doctor. Based on my scalp and donor supply, FUE was the best option. The procedure went as well as it could've and the recovery thus far is nothing like it was after the FUT. unlike the last time, I'm not going to stress over everything. Once I'm fully recovered I'm going to forget I even did it for the next 8 months.

Just talk it over with your doctor and make sure you trust his advice.

  2. I just did a FUE as my second surgery on Thursday. I had a FUT 6 years ago. The doctor recommended FUE as the best option for me personally. We went through the reasons why an FUE would be better, and it all made perfect sense. But again you have to consult with your doctor to see what is best for you personally.

Also, having gone through the FUT recovery, the FUE is a breeze compared to it.

  3. I first met with a Bosley salesmen when I was 23, continued to do research. I came across Dr. Vogel in Maryland, he said wait until I'm at least 28. I waited then went to Dr. Vogel, the rest is history.

Finding a good doctor is key. I am beginning to wonder how a place like Bosley stays in business.

  4. I added 2 photos that I took with my tablet. They can be seen in the 9/2013 album, this is 2 years after my procedure.. I'm not a professional but needless to say I'm more than happy with the results, and the doctor was very upfront with what to expect from the beginning.

  5. I went to Dr. Vogel in July 2011. I had a similar procedure (1700 grafts) and the price was around 8000. While after the procedure, I was wondering when the hair would grow, I became very impatient and called Dr. Vogel on several occasions. Sure enough everything dr. Vogel said would happen , happened and 8 months later I had a great result and am considering going back for another in the near future. Dr. Vogel was very honest and up front with what I can expect. I even wear my hair pretty short on the sides without notice of the scar and my barber has used a #1 on the blade.

My advice to you would be to call and talk with dr. Vogel. He's proven to be a top doctor in this field, and is going to be honest and realistic with what you can expect as far as results.

  6. I ordered more Propecia via RX.com through my Doctors office. She said do I want to try the generic version for $175 for 90 days compared to $235 for Propecia. She said a lot of people have switched to the generic, my doc would not promote something if it wasn't reputable but I stuck with Propecia instead of Dr. Reddys finasteride

  7. I have been on Propecia for over 7 years. I never experienced any side offects. Just today I cut a 5 mg finasteride pill into fourths and took 1.25mg. Will there be any drop off if I stay on the generic finasteride as opposed to staying on the propecia ?

    Thanks

  8. It's been over a year since my procedure with Dr. Vogel and I can not express my gratitude enough. He said from day 1 what to expect, and I was a pain in the ass about everything but he was right, I should have never worried about anything. I will be hopefully going back sometime in April for my second and final procedure. I have some pics on my profile of what I looked like before and 8 months after, but it's even better now. Thank you Dr. Vogel !!!
