Shock loss is normal , you have nothing to worry about ... just let your hair grow in again and you will be a happy camper. Dr Charles is one stand up guy , and I know you are going to be happy with your hair after the extra 850 grow out. Keep us all posted on your progress!

Nice work Doc.
He is probably pretty excited to be styling his own hair...being a hair stylist and all . .
-
At 5 months this patient is looking much better. Strange he kept his forelock ..
-
this is an amazing result for only 7.5 months out. Looks like this patient has some great donor hair to work with . Kudos doctor , great work.

I think if you concentrate your next round on your frontal third , you could turn out with a really nice hair line , then you could brush your hair back and look badass. First step is picking the right surgeon for your case, plenty of great doc's listed on this site. Lots of us on this site know how it feels to get a shitty , ripoff hair transplant.. but there a lots of people out there who can help you. Ive heard so many horror storys with Larry Shapiro, he should be fined and removed from the industry...him and hundreds of other wannabe transplant surgeons.

Hey Bucksred,
Looks like we are in the same boat, ugly qwacks. haha. I'm trying hard not to look in the mirror these days...I do have a pretty good feeling about our transplants, fingers crossed we get early growth!
Cheers brother, keep me updated .
Hey quick question , what are you using for preventative measures against additional hair loss?
-
Holy crap , for 4 months you have some epic hair growth ! Super happy for you! Keep us updated, cases like yours gives us all huge hope.

Great result Dr Lindsey! I love this guys hair line. . . looks great

Hey Sparks,
So .. in the last 2 photos you posted, thats after the plugs were chopped and replaced? with no additional grafts harvested?
-
Looks great ! Still months of growth to go as well . Thanks for updating , nice work for sure.
-
Still early on , but it seems to me you are on the right track . Nothing to worry about , I think it will turn out great.
-
Wow , nothing to complain about there... especially if you are 35! It looks to me as if rogaine/propecia has held on to your hair quite well! I would wait a couple years before you think about a transplant.
Your hair looks good !
-
Thanks for checking up on me Dr Lindsey!
I will be sure to post more pictures around May 1st .
Hope all is well in your world, we will talk soon.

Hey everyone ,
heres my one month update, most of my grafts have shed but a select few.. everything is back to normal , no pain at the donor site or recipient site besides some redness/numbness. I have not got a picture of the donor site yet , but I will soon . All photos taken under lots of bathroom lighting. I would like to start a topical solution and have 5% minoxidil but haven't used any yet...would it be safe to start it at 1month out?
Take care!
Current Reg

At 8 months his hair looks great, very nice result .
This is one lucky patient.

Congrats on your transplant with Dr Feller. Good choice! Just take it easy, I'm at one month out from a transplant with Dr Lindsey and I feel perfectly normal , no tenderness on the donor site .. most of the grafts placed have fallen out ... im pretty much back to where I was before the hair transplant .
After you get your staples/sutures out I would get someone to put Vitamin E on the donor site twice a day if you can . Really helps with the healing process. Just imagine , this time next year our hair will be HUGE!

All i can say is .... very interesting case...
I'm wondering... did he have a full head of hair ?
