so sorry about your horrible hair transplant 12 years ago. well my hair grew rapidly too and then it shedded. all of my transplanted hair is gone. I guess this is normal and expected. I'm currently at 9 weeks post op. thanks for sharing! congratulations on your HT! On my first HT my hair shedded around the 3rd week, but my 2nd HT shedded around the 5th week. So I would say around the period of about 1 month post operation. from that picture Your HT looks good. show us more pictures if you don't mind and always stay positive at this stage of post op is one of the most difficult times. Easier said than done as I have experience this twice and its still mentally draining. wish you all the best!

Today when I was reading a newspaper I saw an ad for Hair loss. it say Spectral DNC- the world's most effective hair loss treatment. I never heard of this product before. I was wondering if any of you guys use this product and if it really works.

I'll take some pictures and have you guys give advice on it. I noticed when I look at myself in the mirror the lighting and angle of my head makes such a big difference on the density of hair I got. I don't know what to feel excited or sad. I'm kind of scared of what other may think, never really open up and showed anyone before. I basically go to bed with my hat beside me.

I will definitely try it out, like you said nothing to lose. before I got my first hair transplant I thought i would have hair almost as natural as a regular person from it. from what you said I think my expectation were unrealistic so It made me very disappointed and depressed seeing your 7 photos and your profile picture! your hair looking very good compare to before. when and where is your HT procedure?

wow! your taking alot of stuff. If you use the big three to keep your hair does it actually stop hair loss period or it just slows it down dramatically. when am I safe to use the the other two? I'm currently one month pass operation. Heard of rogaine and propecia but what is nizoral shampoo? do most doctors recommend it? all my doctor told me its fine using propecia.

I got my hair transplant at Hasson and Wong. it was Dr. Jerry Wong that did my transplant. I hope he is as good at Dr. Hasson. This is actually my second HT. My first one is also done with Dr.Wong which I had done 3 years ago. The reason I did my second one was because on my first Hair transplant I got 3000+ grafts done around the front of my head except at the middle front of my forehead because there was still hair there. After those hair shedded it never grow back like it was suppose too. Those were thick and strong hair too. I have talk to Dr.wong about it. He said that has never occurred before. Also after one year or so after my first transplant, I stopped using propecia. I thought once hair is stopped from shedding it would be gone for good. I didn't know you were suppose to kept renewing propecia. Because of that there is a big bald spot on the crown. really? can we actually have better hair than a person who has not experience hair loss?| what vitamins and minerals you recommend. is it available in pharmacy in Canada? I don't feel too comfortable about ordering pills online.

hey Troypolamalu79, thanks for all that useful information! since I had my HT about a month ago, I never really go out or see my friends and everyday seeing myself in the mirror makes me very depressing. Even before I had hair loss my self-esteem was very low. i noticed that after going to the gym I have more confidence and feel good about myself so I decided to go twice a day. Even when I lift weights I still wore a hat. With the hat on and all the sweat and heat trap inside does it effect hair growth? Also when I feel the back of my head where the scar is. it feels bumpy. it feels a little higher than my scalp. is this normal? or is it because I'm lifting too much weight.

the protein shakes and multi-vitamins is it okay to take after 1 month post operation? i been liftings weights weights twice a day for 5 days a week will it have an effect on my scar and hair growth period?

where you get this information from? I always thought propecia stop hair loss. so you will still loss hair even after using propecia? so scared now!

don't know where to start a new post. I have a simple question. does anyone know if its normal to not shed hair after 1 month on their second HT. On my first HT I shedded alot of my hair on the third week. I was thinking this is my second HT maybe my hair got used to. I want to know if anybody has that problem of not shedding on their second HT. thanks!
