  1. I don’t think finasteride is going to cause any feminine effects after puberty.

You can monitor your estrogen and testosterone if your taking it.

I tried the TRT route for almost a year my body did not agree, my T levels were all over the place. I was consistent with injecting 150mg a week.

I stopped and took clomid three times a week and DIM to control my estrogen. Last blood work 935 total T and estrogen was like 140. At 51 this is great numbers. I do bloodwork once a year. Last test was in December 22.

  2. Mike, you make some fair points. I think on this forum you find a lot of old timers that have been exposed to finasteride pre internet and post internet.

I always find it comical on other forums when someone takes finasteride and a day later they have a cough and blame it on the drug. It’s ridiculous. I also think all the negative stuff written about it definitely effects your mood when you first start. The mind is incredibly powerful and I believe if you think you will get sexual sides it can happen just from performance anxiety.

I just advise to do your due diligence on this or any drug you take. I do not feel people push the drug on this site.

  3. Simple, the warnings on the medication are listed. It’s on you to take it or not. No one is forcing the medication down your throat. Also, Proscar has been perscribed since 1995, that’s millions of people on the drug for prostrate cancer.

I have been on Proscar then dustasteride since 1996. I have no side effects after 26 years. I had recent blood work and it’s solid in all aspects. Also, my psa is super low which is great as my father passed away at 65 from prostrate cancer.

  4. Gatsby, in your research what do the surgeons say about implanting grafts into areas that had prior grafts reduced. I have old school punch grafts on both sides of my hairline. Lucky dutasteride has been able to keep most of my hair for 20 plus years, so there easy to cover up.

I had the plugs reduced twice in the 2000s but the hair that was salveged and re implanted did not grow, maybe 20 percent of them. I know the can remove them by excise a line and your left with a small scar on the hairline. This removes all the scar tissue.

Like you I had a bad transplant at 19 way before the internet. I just want to not worry about always having to style or avoid wind once and for all.

    thanks
