  1. ARHHH! Dingdong that's a toughy not wanting to sound like i'm sat on the fence but my journey is only half way there. Not saying that i'm not happy i'm very happy with my hairline which was done last year, but i still have another year to go before i have the result i'm hoping for. Ask me the same question next year and i'll give you a full honest answer, and of course when the pics are on here next year then maybe you can give me your theory on this topic to.

  2. I have been a patient of Belgravia for 2 years and a month and I am incredibly satisfied. ?250 every 3 or so months for their 12.5% minoxidil and propecia, but the results have been great and they have been a life saver.

Unless someone tells me that 12.5% cream is available much cheaper elsewhere, then I will remain a very happy customer of theirs. I was nearly bald and now have regained most of my hair thanks to Belgravia. Sadly parts of my hairline was too far gone (which they told me on my first consultation) but they said it would thicken and improve everywhere else and they were right.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but to call them con artists isn't fair. I wont publish photos online (I'm 22 and find it embarrassing) but me in March 2010 to now is incomparable. Maybe the propecia and 12.5% minoxidil is available for cheaper elsewhere (I'll look into that based on some of these replies) but I can honestly say they have helped me so much and I've regained about 75%-80% of my lost hair.

TommyLucchese would be nice to see some pic's don't be embarrassed your in good company we have all been there.

  3. BLOODY HELL not another Saints fan lol, i echo everything Buzz says i got back just over 2 weeks ago from Dr Saifi after my 2nd HT with him and i had FUT on both procedure's Dingdong's correct 2k for 1000 grafts(fut). Any questions regarding AM-MED&Dr Saifi just ask

    Tony 4350 fut graftsx2 ht's Dr Saifi am-med.

  4. I've heard people make both claims. Does anyone have any informed beliefs? Also, if conditioner gives volume instead of taking it away, which conditioner gives the most volume?

Being married to a women in the hair&beauty industry who come's home with different type's of shampoo's&conditioner's on a frequent basis for volume and extra shine etc. I can only say pop in to any long standing hair salon in your area and ask the stylist or colour technician's for the best product's than answer your question's.

  5. Buzz when the time come's just tell the wife your popping out for some milk and then head for Stanstead. I've just posted a great video on facebook of the saints fans singing just as David Norris score's his wonder GOAL! and suddenly they stop lol. no bragging rights for either of us this season mate. I'm also in the shockloss stage at the moment mate but i know it will be all good at the end. Buzz check out rlc26 16 week stage pics there looking great.

  6. Cheers Porter !!! (Joking !! Remember that one ??)

I was going to ask you about the massager as you mentioned it on a previous post. Obviously worked well for you as you got a good amount of grafts on your second op. Where did you purchase it if you dont mind me asking?

Regarding the Saints, confidence may be down a bit after the defeat at Blackpool. Should be a good game though !!!

Looking forward to seeing the pics.

Hi Buzz if you search on ebay carmen battery hand held facial face massager ?6.00 free p&p it comes with two attachments, i used the attachment with the seven round circle's on it. Only really started using it about 9 weeks ago when i re-booked with Dr Saifi, i just couldn't get to grips with massaging with my fingers. It obviously worked as Dr Saifi commented on how the scar was soft, the wife cut my stitches out tonight over easter i'll get her to take some pics. There isn't a great deal to see as all of the grafts were put in around my existing hair to thicken it up, and the crown area where i have no hair. I'll try and get some of the scar. And yes the estate agent who couldn't read my profile name 5000 profile views to date and his is still the only negative one to. I'm hoping this will be my last HT, Dr Saifi said i still have enough donor area for one more procedure of 2000 grafts. Don't think the wife would let me spend any more money lol.

  7. Buzz its still quite red in the middle because this is the widest part of the cut, the two ends are cut tapering into a very small cut. But the middle is under the most tension while it is being stitch up, this why its still a bit red probably still a bit tender as well. You got to give it at least 3 months, when the regrowth starts coming through and the tenderness has gone get a little hand held battery massager to start softening the scar.

  8. Dingdong

Good question !! You beat me to it !!

My procedure lasted about 6.5 hours. Dr Saifi made ALL the incisions. For the placement of the grafts he was doing this with " the fit blonde one " All though he did do more. For approximately 30 mins he did dissappear, which I dont think is too bad for the 6.5 hours.

I understand that the incisions are the most important part. I dont know why. As surely the placement of the grafts are just important, because if you put them in at the wrong angle, the hair will not look unatural ?? Can anyone comment on this ??

Jotronic is spot on, on this thread both my HT's with Dr Saifi were carried out by himself and two techs (Julita Krajewska the fit blonde buzz haha). Both of mine were 9hr procedure's including (lunch break and the odd break to stretch) On procedure's as long as these the Doc;s themselves could suffer with fatigue. I remember last year when i had my new hairline done, Dr Saifi was explaining to me the angle of the incisions for the hairline were lower at the front so that the hair grew out at a lower angle for a natural look. I guess if the incisions were just made directly into your head and not at a certain angle there would be no natural look ( bit like an action man doll lol) . Buzz tell your boys to go easy on us on Saturday.

  9. No way can any doctor sell legit propecia by Merck for that price. That's cheaper than Merck sells it wholesale to chemists. I take it you mean generic not propecia?

only ordered it wednesday mate let you know it arrive's but your probably right.

  10. Or you can try a website called quality-rx.com you can get propecia on there hell of a lot cheaper than you guys have been paying check it out. just found the invoice ?50.00 for 6 months worth.

4350 FUT grafts Dr Saifi AM-MED Wroclaw.

  11. Glad to here after 9 weeks you have growth already dingdong by August you should have some real good coverage mate. And as for you Buzz a saints fan well thats it as far as i'm concerned were finished! only joking mate you deserve it this season clearly the best team in the championship, plus i have a lot of saints fans as mate's. Good to hear you didn't lose any original hair through shockloss like dingdong come August you should have some good coverage to, not long mate only 5 months. just think in August you'll have good hair and a premiership team, me on the other hand should have good hair and erm ah, might have a team lol will keep you all posted in due course Tony,

  12. Hi guys hope you are all well i returned home yesterday from Poland after my second HT procedure with Dr Saifi and his team. As you all know i had 2200 FUT graft's in March 2011 to make a new hair line, which 1yr on is looking natural and thick. After arriving on Monday morning at the Art Hotel in Wroclaw i basically spent the rest of the day sleeping. On Tuesday 27/3 i had my HT once again the ever reliable Krzysztof was waiting for me at 9am to take me to the clinic. After meeting with Dr Saifi once again we got to work planning where the new graft's were going to be implanted, the area's were the crown, the mid section, directly behind the hairline, and 1cm from the beginning of the hairline. The plan was to implant 2000 grafts the original scar had healed perfectly in fact i brought a battery powered massager and used it on the scar every day which softened the scar ready for they next procedure. So the donor strip was removed and harvested by Dr Saifi's team while he got to work preparing me ready for the graft implants. I must of fell asleep at least half a dozen time's during the procedure, we stopped for lunch around 1.30pm and after lunch the implant process started, the nurses counted in total 2150 grafts which was very pleasing. The day finished at around 7pm and all the planned area's were covered, Just like my last visit last year it was a completely stress free painless procedure. I did manage to sleep when i got back to the hotel for a couple of hours and woke up in the early hours of the morning but did manage to get back to sleep again and woke in time so i didn't miss breakfast. On Wednesday i managed to do some sight seeing and what a lovely city Wroclaw is makes the city where i live Portsmouth look like a right dump lol. I would advise if possible anyone planning to come here to take someone with you as it can get a bit lonely on your own. But in general the whole trip did once again did go very smoothly . So in total to date i have had around 4350 grafts so i now have to practice what i keep preaching to everyone and put my feet up and wait for nature to take its course. When Dr Saifi emails me the procedure photo's i will upload them asap, best wishes to you all Tony.

  13. Hi Gary just seen the pics and its all looking good, there's good coverage and because you still had hair on top the shock loss won't be as bad as you thought. You got to try and be patient now mate, come August you will have good growth that's only five months away then after that it will just get thicker. I can see why you were a bit anxious about this HT after your previous HT experience, i'm just so glad we have found a quality surgeon with reachable price structuring practically on our doorstep. Having all ready had a procedure with Dr Saifi i am really excited about my up coming trip to Poland in two weeks. At least you now can put the bad experience of your first HT to bed and look to the future now. Anyway glad it all went well regards Tony.

  14. Porter thanks for sharing your story. I understand that you are only 6 months out so there is still some growth to go. Having said that your before pictures were nice clear full of lighting, your after pictures are darker and your hairline is fuzzy. This is not way to say you didnt have a great result but I dont feel without accurate before and after nobody can give an honest evaluation. Whether is was done intentional or not this can be considered dishonest. The contrast before and after is too great.

Regardless congrad on your happy transplant if possible could you post better after pictures.

    Just my opinion

thank you for your post Lorenzo after 450 or so profile views i suppose its about time i got a negative post regarding my HT. Your quite right i am only 6 since months into my HT which is really only around 3/4 months of growth considering it took 10 weeks for the hairs to fall out after the procedure. I do apologise for the photo's at 4 months my wife took them with our little camera i wasn't aware this was a HT top trump site, maybe i'll get a professional photographer to take the next picture's.I have to say i am not at all comfortable with your comment 'considered dishonest' maybe you should think what is appropriate before you post it. (just my opinion) I have viewed your pictures and they are very good, fortunately you had much more hair than i did post op this why i am going for a second procedure early next year. best wishes Tony.

  15. hello mate glad to hear the trip went along very well, reading your post reminds me of my trip because mine went exactly as you have described yours. Yep the waiting game now 8/10 weeks the hairs will fall out and then the new hairs will start coming through. Just got to be patient they will come through believe me. its been 6 months today since my ht with Dr Saifi i will take some pictures today and email them to Dr Saifi's site where you can see them best wishes Tony.

  16. Hi, Dr.Saifi charges ?2950 for 2000 grafts so he is considerably cheaper than some of the quotes I received in the U.K. If you go to a recommended surgeon in the UK, of which I think there is only one, you would pat around ?6-8 k for the treatment which begs another question, why is this surgery so expensive, some surgeons are bleeding desperate people of there money, I'm not saying it should be done at the surgeons expense and I understand that they are mostly talented at what they do but some surgeons are charging obscene amounts for a simple procedure and I don't just mean hair restoration but Most "plastic" procedures.

Dr Saifi's pricing scale seems fair and proportionate and thanks to him it is a procedure I can consider, I could not consider it if I had to pay UK prices so the greed of some surgeons has priced them out of a huge market of people who would otherwise present a constant stream of people coming through there doors.

Your absolutely right mate and thats the only reason i could afford my HT'S because of his price structuring. I know the cost of living in Poland is cheaper but is it really a third of the cost of living in the uk don't think so. I was in a clinic in february in London and they wanted ?600 for a years supply of propecia yet i can get them from quality rx for ?150 for a years supply. Anyway your off next week i hear, good man say hi to Dr saifi from me regard Tony.
