  1. Hi just looked at your link, and yes not much to go on with EHR. Couldn't find a gallery. Maybe post a thread on here asking for any happy patients of EHR. Checked out the photos on the Private Clinic and yes Dr Reddy's work looks good. If you are really thinking of using Dr Reddy, again search for happy clients of him on this forum, and pester them with Q&A's. Don't ever be afraid to keep asking questions, whoever you choose it has to be the right Dr for you.

I've seen many horror story's due to being to eager and picking the first clinic that comes along. So take your time and research! There are many very good Dr's out there who aren't on this site.

    Regards Tony.

  2. Hi punkrocker

You've made the most important step by joining this network, well done. Like jonnyboy71 said get some pics on here. As far as meds are concerned, they really only work in the crown and midsection. So if it's your hairline which is the issue, ht procedure is really your only option. Like you I was an Norwood 3 when I started my ht journey 3yrs ago. Advice, ask! And asked again and plenty of research. The more positive reviews you get, the easier it gets to make a decision. Feel free to ask any questions.

    Regards Tony.

  3. I say 18 months because that's generally how long it takes for a ht to fully mature. I'm half way there so I won't judge it until then. My wife noticed very fine sprouting at around 12 weeks, that is when I started on the minoxidil again but with the shock loss in the surrounding ht area plus the shock loss in the transplanted region and the added shedding due to the use of minoxidil. I decided to stop using it so I'm just on the finastride now which I'm much happier with.

  4. It's hard to put your finger on it really, but all I can say it's much slower. I'm at 8.5 months and even though I have coverage in the crown there's no real density. I'll wait till around 18 months till it's fully grown out then re-address it. I had a lot of work done from in filling the hairline, through the bridge and the crown. So I'm guessing I may have to have one last procedure to concentrate on the crown. That's the problem when anyone who goes down the HT route your in to get the desired result, whether that means one procedure or three, four etc.

  5. Get on propecia and minoxidil right away man, the propecia will block the DHT'S from shrinking the hair follicle's. So you will keep the hair you still have, and in time you may get some new growth. The minoxidil will encourage new growth, you may experience new growth within 4 months with the minoxidil. But you must continue using the propecia. I don't know of any natural or herbal treatments that actually work,

  6. Congratulations on getting the HT done agenteye it's a long wait now, you will get impatient believe me. But hang in there focus on 16-20 weeks you should have some descent coverage by then. And then from around 7-8 month the hair will start to thicken, generally takes around 18 months to fully grow out so long way to go, but it's positive all the way now dude.

  7. Buzz like I said great things happen from 4 months and after that it just gets thicker, you deserve it mate. Bill, Dr Saifi change my life in march last year and I couldn't praise him enough, but I was made to look like I was paid shills by a certain member. So I guess Buzz doesn't want to leave himself open like I did. Anyway buzz I'm four and half months in on my 2nd procedure and I have decent coverage on the crown which makes me very happy indeed, I bet October can't come soon enough for you mate can it, take care mate.

  8. Great! that's all i can say Buzz, you have around another 10 months to see the full results of this HT ( so its going to look even better mate) plus your up-coming HT in October is it?. Like i have said to you before you WILL be sorted for good you can forget all about your horror experience in the past. Thank god we found a top affordable Dr.

  9. Dingdong looking good at 5 months mate exciting thing is, it starts to thicken around the 8 months mark and doesn't stop growing and thickening untill around 18 months. So in about a years time you will have your full results. I feel very lucky to have found a quality and affordable Doc one and half hours from the UK.

  10. I can only put it down to the fact that we all have weak hair follicle's as opposed to all those lucky sods who have full heads of hair and strong follicle's. So it has to be no,5 coz shit has certainly happened to us lot hasn't it lol. Great thread though Swayzedo.

  11. Hey guys, Im new to this forum. Im 27, I have been having thinning hair for ever since i was about 20-21. And In last 3-4 I have been balding in on the top back of my head, crown or vertex area?

I tried Rogaine foam for only 2-3 months with no results, busy schedule messed me up. I will be going back to Rogaine foam starting this week. Like everyone else here, this is a horrible feeling especially being this young (?)

I was also wonder about propecia and how to get it. Ive done my research and i read all about it, Im still a little scared of it for "sexual side effects." I feel like I have a low testosterone level already. I dont know what else to do, I was hoping for advice for this type of balding ???

    Thanks

Definitely get on meds fin&minoxidil now, it will take some months to see any halt to your hair loss and you could in time see some new growth in the crown area. But don't really expect to see any new growth through the mid section and hair line, as meds only really concentrate on the crown area. Looking at your pics you look like you could be a candidate for a HT if thats the road you intend to go down, if it is then research research research. Everyone is here to help you mate regards.

  12. Goldie it all depends on the patients donor hair, some ht patients can achieve as little as 30 grafts per sq cm with natural looking density while other ht patients could need as much as 75 grafts per sq cm to achieve the same. The grafts can contain 1-4 hairs.
