  1. 3 weeks, 3 days buzzed with a #3 clip. A lot of shedding has occurred over the past week. I guess I am starting the "ugly duckling" phase. Hopefully the sooner it starts the sooner it is over, just wishful thinking. There is no pain or numbness in the recipient area but a weir sensation when I touch it. The pic is not good but the is a faint line across the incision, not terrible and remember it is buzzes with a #3. I have a little numbness in the back of my head at the incision about 2 inches long. The donor site feels normal as long as I'm not laying on it.

  8. I figured but justed wanted to make sure because I saw the little hairs in the crusts. I get my stitches out Wednesday and I am looking forward to buzzing my head even thought the incision will show. It is better than looking the way I do now because almost all my native hair fell out as well. Shock loss hit hard. There wasn't much there to begin with but it is noticeable. I am really looking forward to the months to come. I see a lot of guys shed their scabs and have the transplanted stubble there for a little so you can envision how things might look. Thanks guys!
  9. yes recipient area but I didn't buzz it b4 the op. As long as it dosnt sound like the follicle.
  10. There are small hairs in some crusts from the top of my head. Small flat scabs with a small hair thruogh it. I really hope this is normal. I am 10 days post-op

  13. Thanks, I will. I just figured how to attach thumbnails so the photos will keep coming.
  14. Well it is day five and the little swelling I had is totally gone. I think tonight will be the first time I sleep on my back with a couple of pillows, I've been sleeping pretty much sitting up. The best way to describe the sensation on my head, it's like I'm wearing a tight hat. There really isn't any scabbing to the donor site, I have my wife to thank for that. The scabs on top are minimal and I feel the stubbles growing. Can't wait for the crusts to fall off, hopefully before the holidays.
  15. Hey guys, first off this site is great and very informative. I am having trouble seeing photos when I open personnel journals, I just get x where the photo should be. Is there a setting I need to change in my browser? I use IE, thanks in advance.
