  1. Yes i did think that at the time. I did ask but was only told about the 300 singles. Id just been given 2 valium so didnt push it but now you have reminded me ill email and find out. Ill keep ya posted.
  2. Craig, try not to worry too much. Youll get some VERY good advice from everyone on this forum and it has helped me alot. Its a great forum but before you panic about comments made here about certain surgeons and clinics being butchers, hacks etc etc read the 'how we recommend surgeons' page http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/151067-how-we-recommend-hair-transplant-physicians.html but read between the lines. When researching and choosing my surgeon i used information from the kind people here as well as my own independent research.
  3. Thanks guys, ill pop down to Boots this afternoon and add these to the Omega-3 and Vit B complex i purchased yesterday. Like others im just trying to cover all bases, if there is a supliment or vitamin the just MIGHT help then ill take it!
  4. Following advice from this group i have purchased Vitamin B complex and omega-3, i am also using Dermatix on my scar (im at day 3 post opp). What vitamins and tablets could i take to help things along a little and what vitamins should i avoid? Justin

  8. One thing that has puzzled me is that ive not been given or advised to use any anti biotics? Should i be on these to stop infection? All ive been using is co-codamol for the strip pain but dont need these any more, the steriods to prevent swelling and the distilled water spray. But no antibiotics???
  9. Thanks for the kind words guys. I have been sleeping with 3 pillows to keep my head high. I had a bit of bleeding from the strip scar on the first night and the grafts are as clean now as they where on day one i.e not crust or bleeding at all. Ive been spraying with distilled water every half hour on the grafts but apart from that havent done any post op stuff. Ive had no itching at all so have not been inclinded to pick. ill goto the chemist in the morning and buy the drugs sugested.
  10. It was carried out by both Dr Katona and Dr Williams jointly. I know the company these doctors work for is not popular on this forum but instead of researching a company and then writing off any doctor who has ever worked for them I instead researched the doctors them selves and was very pleased with what I read or in the case of Dr Williams what I didn’t read. Ive got to say that apart from the sales guy little white lies I found the whole day I was there very good. My wife was able to stay in the private waiting room and drank coffee and watched TV all day. The staff where knowledgeable and friendly and the two doctors made me feel calm and relaxed. Im no HT expert but it looks like they have done a pretty good job on me too: even managed to get an extra 375 extra grafts on the day! Dr Katona has already phoned me today to see how im getting and answered my post opp questions. So far I cant find fault with anything they have done. Im going to book in for another 2000 odd grafts for the back of my head next year but ask if they can lower the hairline on the front and sacrifice a bit of thickness on the crown as id hoped for a lower hair line.
  11. 2375 grafts 300 single apparently, no info on how many 2s and 3s where given, Scar hurt a little until i sneezed a few seconds ago now it killing Scar is from above one ear to above the other. 4x 5 mg Valium 2x ? Codamoltook from 8.30am until 7pm with 1 15 min break Very happy with the care i got, was very well looked after. just gotta see how it grows. Im looking forward to my 10 days off work now!! Edited to say:drugs taken home are co-codamol and prednisolone aparently the prednisolone will stop any swelling of my forehead, not looking forward to 7 of them for breakfast though

  15. I have front row seats at his concert in Shrewsbury on 12th June so ill take a good hard look and report back
  16. I have now found out that my HT will be carried out by Dr Peter Williams. I cant find anyone complaining about his work on here so thats a good thing!! It looks like he has done 1000 HT in 7 years but has had no training according to his career printout. Hospital Group seriously needs to update there web site and get the Dr Goldstone off, hes not popular at all! The surgeons now at Bromsgrove are Dr Craig Ziering, Dr Arthur Katona and Dr Peter Williams. Apparently Ziering has retrained all the staff last year when he joined them. I cant find any info on here about Dr Peter Williams though.
  17. The Hospital Group have pictures of him having his HT in their book of samples they show you during the consultaion and say that they did it but The Westminster Clinic say on their website that Dr Rodgers was the only person to perform a HT on any Quo member?
  18. This is probably a silly question but cant the scar be treated with FUE?
  19. Hi everyone, this is my first post on this forum!! I’m booked in at Dolan Park next month to have the first of 2 2000 graft sessions. The price I have accepted is ?2.50 per graft. I’ve research Dolan Park and at first panicked due to bad reports but have noticed that only 1 surgeon (Dr goldstone) actually gets any bad reports so im happy to go with that Hospital as long as Dr Goldstone does not perform the transplant. I cant find any horror stories relating to Dr Peter Williams or Dr Ziering. My question is: as a norwood VI would 2 sessions of 2000 give adequate coverage, it seems a little optimistic. From a sales point of view I would have thought the salesman would have sold me more grafts and not less than was needed? Also why didnt they offer to do the whole lot in 1 session instead of 2 sessions 5 months apart? Will this mean 2 scars? I was intending to have FUE but have been advised by the salesman that as I have a limited donor area im not suitable for this method? Is there ant truth in this? justin
