  1. Keith, don't screw around with Dr. Katona, he worked at MHR and they went bankrupt, he fled to Florida where they have laws that better protect doctors from law suits. go to the best, Shapiro Medical, Hasson Wong, etc... I have gone through a lot of repair work and it finally looks good, I could have avoided this if I went with someone good the first time.
  2. OK, Im looking for advice here, I will be getting some type of corrective work done in the fall, I already have much camoflage over plugs and mini/micro graphs (raised and embedded). I am seeing Dr. Konior in October and I need a game plan. I need to be able to go out in the sunlight and not see through to the bigger graphs, I don think camoflage is an option here, does anyone reccomend excising out the bigger graphs in this situation as opposed to camoflage?

  8. heres a link for the total reversal (promotional link removed - topic is 5 years old)
  9. pk, I am trying to have this done now, I have been discussing this with Dr. Epstein in Miami who claims he does it all the time.
  10. I know a guy who gad a lot of graphs removed by Dr. Cole in Atlanta, his head is smooth but after 2 months there are red marks where the plugs were removed. They are supposed to go away with time.
  11. I know someone who had quite a few 2000ish removed by Dr. Cole in Atlanta, after a couple months the removed area is smooth but there are still red marks at the location that they were removed, he is still trying to find dermatologists to treat the donor scar though
  12. Has anyone ever raised a hairline without using the browlift procedure, I am asking becuase I was a victim of bad planning at the NW4 stage and my hairline apex starts 6mm above my eyebrows, I will be going to a NW6 and not enough donor to cover it, so I would like a higher hairline to make it look more natural. Any suggestions to anyone.
  13. I am contemplating doing the same procedure, the apex of my hairline is too low and I would like it raised without WITHOUT using the browlift method. How did these turn out for you guys?
  14. imissthebarber, I have started this opic in a new forum under "hair repair vs. reversal"
  15. Leeson, yes I have been on propecia for the last 10 years (there is a limit to how long this will stay effective, I have also started using Minoxidil within the last month)
  16. Baldie42, I curently have some plugs that are camoflaghed so I will be in the process of thinnng those out in Fall, if after those are thinned I can still shave it I certainly will. But I will have to leave the back long tough to cover up my scars so I would have to shave just the top of my head.
  17. HairHope, that photo did not explain my point, here is another photo, yellow arrow indicates transplante hair, red circled area indicates where hair is going to be lost at in the near future. See attached
  18. I am currently at a NW4 level, and have used up a hell of a lot of donor hair transplanting in my forelock, I will be going to see multiple renowned doctors for repair work in fall to inquire if I have enough donor to to make it look natural when I go to a NW6 (which is coming soon I notice when I get out of the shower). I have also inquired on Cole and Bernstein for the complete reversal technique if I am to get bad news from the repair doctors consultation. I would love to be able to move my hairline up so as to me more natural when NW6 starts to kick in. Anyone have any suggestions how I can make a full forelock look natural with not enough donor to fill in the scalp behind it? Attached is photo of current hairline, apex starts 6mm above my eyebrow legnth.

  22. Dr. Katona of MHR told me that he invented a procedure a year and a half ago for removing scars that he invented and he expects it will be the wave of the future of how scars will be done from now on. Has anyone heard of this from him?
