  1. Thanks TakingThePlunge. The hair has actually got a lot darker on the lip since I last posted Ala Ron Burguny.Hardly any blonde hairs left.As for the hair on my head,I've been experiencing a bad shed.It looks terrible but I'm optimistic since I have a lot of vellus hairs coming through.Especially the temples.Hard to tell with the rest of my head. It's at about 3 inches long.I just hope they go terminal!!!
  2. I've been on Propecia for a month and a half and monox(Rogaine 5% foam) for a month and I've been noticing that in upper lip area I have dark hair growing where I have never had it before. My goatee is a light brown but have never had dark hair on the upper lip.It has always been a light blonde. Is that due to Propecia or Rogaine. Is that normal?
  3. That's exactly what I'm worried about. What's the difference from this day in age and 25 years down the road?..What we do now, is going to be considered primitive.Do I want to live with that?A donor scar?I'm thinking of today like everyone else.I think this is a topic that should be talked about more often than posting say ,1 year post-ops. I'm a hair loss sufferer like the rest of you,but I just want to talk reality. AM I ALONE?
  4. Before I start ranting,I don't mean to step on any toes.I'm just seeking some honest opinions on this subject. I have been doing some research on getting a HT for the last year and have noticed some disturbing trends.I have yet to find some one who have had only one HT in their lifetime.A lot of the people that I do see ,have had multiple HT's before the age of 35.What I'm saying is,most of these cases have exhausted their donor area already at such a young age concerns me.What concerns me more is,seeing that quality HT's have only been around for such a short time that you never really know what the outcome will be after 30 years. To be honest, this scares the crap out of me.
  5. Thanks Jimmy.I don't think that will be a problem in the future.I seem to have good density in the donor area
  6. You'll have to give a break aw-33. Just started doing research about everything pertaining to hair loss just recently.Wish I did earlier Aw33.To be honest,it's fucking overwhelming. All the information is overwhelming. That's why I'm on this forum,to ask people in my situation, for advice.
  7. Thank you Falceros

  8. I think Its stabilized.I went through a bad break up with my ex girlfriend 2 years ago.To say the least I lost half of scalp in a matter of months.Stress DOES affect your hair.I have no doubts about that.I've always had a receding hairline.Probably since I was 25. I haven't really lost much since then.I don't take any meds.No topical or pills except for Nioxin. I want my hairline back and density.I have done my research and have seen some great results with people that are worse off than I am.So I don't think my expectations are out of this world.I live relatively close to Vancouver and have heard some great things about Hasson and Wong.So yeah I would go with them.Just shit scared about the scar and how I will look in the future(20,30 years) Thanks aw33

  10. I've been incessantly been thinking about getting a Ht over the last few years.Been noticing a lot of hair loss on my scalp over that time.I have always had a receded temple but the scalp is starting to worry me.I have never taken any meds or used any topical except for Nioxin. I just have a hard time justifying having a scar for the rest of my life in the donor area. There are a lot of what ifs.Should I wait until something revolutionary comes out that minimizes the affect on your body?I mean we're all here because we're all self conscious of our hair and I'll be the first to admit that.It just seems like such a brutal way of going about it.I just can't wrap my head around it but it does seem the best and quickest way.Plus I've seen some great pictures people have posted. Basically looking for some support on my decision I'm a nw 3. 33 years old
