  1. So i got this answer from Dr Lorenzo's office. "Good Morning Mattias, Looking at the photos the doctor says you have enough donor and a good hair transplant. You will not need more than 200-300 grafts of single and double hairs. We encourage you to stay with the low doses in order to preserve your native hair. The dose you’re on now is enough. If you are interested you can contact Pilar at pilarlorenzo@injertocapilar.com and she can give you more information about the schedule and budget. Regards Grace Sadler " What do you guys think? Dr Lorenzo or Dr Lupanzula? Seems to have different type of approach telling from the different numbers in grafts. Having a Skype consultation with Lupanzula tomorrow.
  2. I got this answer from Dr Lupanzula. Dear Mr. Isik, Many thanks for your email and your interest on Dr. Lupanzula's work. I'm pleased to inform you that Dr. Lupanzula has already reviwed your photos and message: based on these, he considers that you may be a good candidate for an FUE procedure to restore your temple points with approximately 1000 to 1200 grafts, and your donor area appears rich and in good condition. Please note that this evalutation is based just on pictures and that it can varies after Dr. Lupanzula's analysis of your donor area and hair characteristics. For your information, Dr. Lupanzula holds live consultation on Friday in our Medikemos clinic in Brussels, one Saturday per month in Paris and every 3-4 months in London (next 3rd of June). A Skype consultation may also be possible. Please let me know which of this options may suit you best. I feel that?s much more reasonable than Dr Korays 2000-2400 grafts. Not that i doubt Dr Korays work, i just feel that?s to much for what im after. What do you guys think about Dr Lupanzula? can i trust him with my temple points?
  3. Yea something like that. looks good imo
  4. Thank you Bill! Just read your entire HT journey. inspiring to say the least. Gives me hope for the future. I only used 3500 grafts so far so i have a good reserve for future hair loss. Im gonna stick with it for a while and assess some more. I dont think i will quit completly in worst case but lower the does and combine with something else maybe. I just take Fin for my hair loss atm.
  5. Hey! So i started with 1mg generic finastride ED, a couple a months in i lost my morning wood and had trouble keeping an erection. I lowered the does to 0.5mg ED and it helped with the sides. Now 8 months in total and on 0.5mg Finasteride ED for the last 3-4 months i started to get sides again. Low libido (fluctuating), weak boner and trouble keeping an erection. I tried to masturbate yesterday and the boner was pathetic, like 60-70% of full capacity. and i've lost my erection during sex a couple of times now. The thing that makes this hard for me to evaluate (except for the weak boner) is that i have a history of ED when im with new people and not completely relaxed. I have taken boner pills with new partners for the last 7 years. I have never had problems with ED when with a stable partner. Im meting a girl tonight that im 100% relaxed with to make the final evaluation. Thing that concern me though is that i dont feel excited or horny what so ever thinking about having sex with her (witch i normally do). So again, my libido is an concern, im usually a very "horny" guy. The Finastride works really good for my hair, i noticed my sides are coming in stronger and my hair loss i stable. I have a full head of hair (after two FUE:s on the front) and im in it just to maintain. So what should i do? Take a break until everything is "normal" again and then start with a lower does? Just lower the does and see if the sides get better? Continue on the same path and wait to see if it gets better? Quit and just admit that this is not for mer? Thoughts and tips here are appreciated.
  6. Yea think so as well. I just emailed them again to make it clear what i meant, in lines of what you wrote. we'll see what they say. Is there any other surgeon in Europe except Keser, Koray, Bisanga and HDC that can be a candidate for this type of job?
  7. I told them that my temple point on the left side is completely gone and my rights is better but still a little weak. So what im after is pulling the sides from the top a litle bit forward and restore the temple points in the process. I sent these pictures to illustrate what i mean. keep in mind that the pictures are just to make it clear what im after, im not serious about the proportions or angles obviously..
  8. I got this answer from HDC Clinic. "Dear Mattias, Our opinion is that what you are requesting will only make your natural look to be worst. We advise you not to proceed with restoring your peak temporal points for the moment. Kind regards," Thats an unexpected answer. Do you agree?
  9. Thank you! Yes! He extracts with help of one assistant and implants everything himself.
  10. Thank you brother. I agree with you and thats why i keep my sides very short. you can shave it all of as well and i think it will look good. I will think about it and talk to a couple of surgeons. If i can do it without wasting to many grafts i might take the step just to be completely satisfied. Im in no rush so we will see what happens .
  11. Yes, that has been the way i have done it before through Dr Keser. maximum of 500 grafts a day. Dr Koray uses a manual punching tool as Keser but they extract and put it all in, in one day. He makes up to 5000 grafts in one day if needed. Its a different approach but you cant deny hes results. Dr Keser has a really small crew and are not willing to take big "riskier" cases anymore due to age and fatigue. He does all the work himself compared to Koray that leaves all the work to his assistants. This makes repair patients and bigger cases harder for him. He took me in for a second time so he is obviously willing to deal with people that has had HT before. I think i will go with the shape that i already have. If you look at my right side you can see that i have a V shaped temple point. Im thinking of just high lighting that and making it stronger. How far im not sure, i have to elaborate that with a surgeon.
  12. Agreed, i think you are absolutely right. I wont waste 2000-2400 grafts on this kind of hair transplant. I just want to "polish" it up for that perfect look (imo). I will continue to look around and see what other doctors say,
  13. I agree with you. I feel thats overkill as well, i wont waste 2000-2400 grafts on that. I actually just mailed Maras. Eager to see what they say about it.
  14. Hey man! Thank you . I am still considering it. As mentioned before im in contact with Dr Koray for my sides and temple points. He wants to use 2000-2400grafts. Quite high number imo but i would like to hear how he reasons and what he thinks about my donor and future hair loss. Im only 30 years old and i have strong hair loss on both sides of my family so its important for me that i think on the long battle ahead. Im on 0.5mg finasteride every day going back 6 months and im going to order S5 Cream plus to add. I have a good donor and i know Dr Koray is really good on harvesting high numbers out of poor donors. I have not talk with Dr Keser about this. I dont even know if he does temple points. I had a friend that was in a really bad shape, almost completely bald with a really bad donor that went to koray (Keser denied him). He managed to harvest over 5000 grafts and the results today are amazing. I cant belive he managed to get so much out of that poor donor and present that kind of result. So that makes me think he can make wonders with mine..
  15. Thank you . Its a good thing that you wait for your donor and head to heal completly before doing the second HT. Dr Keser is really good so you will make a good chooise by picking him imo.
  16. Hey! Thank you . Yea im in contact with dr koray actually regarding my sides and temple points. He replied that he would like to use 2000-2400 grafts for the sides/temple points and a little bit in the front. I think it sound alot for what im asking for but we are in discussion. I have a really good donor so for me the most important thing is to have more for future hair loss. So i want his opinion on that.. Nice. is there anywhere to follow that progress? are you happy with it so far?
  17. Update! sorry for the pictures being turned, dont know why. they are straight at my computer.
  18. I hear you. maybe give the meds some more time? 3 months are nothing if you are taking fin. dont know if Keser does it to be honest. never seen it in his pictures before, that might be why he never mention it. I?ve emailed Dr.Bisanga at BHR-clinic in brussels and Dr.Koray in Istanbul. we?ll see what they say about it. Thank you for the heads up though!
  19. Thanx for the answer. It bugs me a lot to be honest. I should have done it when i was there a couple a months ago. i couldn't figure it out before and why i felt that something was missing. Well, now i know what to do for me to be 100% satisfied. I already emailed a couple of clinics to see if they can help me with this. Feels like it would be a smaller "touch up" job, so maybe something i can do relativity fast and easy.
  20. Yea sure, Something like this.. dont know how many grafts that would take?
  21. you know, when i look at the pictures i regret that i didn't pull the sides more forward. Didnt think about it then and maybe it would take alot more grafts but it would frame the face more. What do you guys think?
  22. I posted an update on the thread but here are the lates pictures with the first 5 in very strong light.
