8 month pictures- Haircut coming up in 2 days don't worry!

When I went for my 2nd surgery- I had many short hairs coming in amongst my longer hair... And that was 14 months!

I'm all over Hasson and Wong- But I also know that Shapiro does great work. I'd choose Shapiro over the rest of his group- But that's just my opinion...

VERY normal- Relax... Months 2-3 are hell months. You'll keep worrying and stressing- Hang in there- Things will heal up and look great-

Well so far, the maximum in one session that I've ever heard of is 5800+ follicular units in one session. If you had 2 sessions, that's 11,600. Something's not addin' up here... It seem odd to me that he didn't tell you how many grafts- But if you are happy- Who really cares? Hope you can share some pictures- I don't remember seeing results from Dr. Law- You could be a pioneer!

There's a lot to think about- Keep reading. My choice was easier than other guys. My hairline was the same as my 73 year old dad's. With the exception of the crown. I figure that if all goes to hell and my meds quit working- I'll have a bald crown, but the rest is taken care of. Plus- I still have enough donor hair to fill it in- I used 5000 grafts- I'd bet I have another 3k if I wanted... But I'm counting on technology keeping up with me... I just started Proscar a year ago and Minox 5% 4 months ago. There's already Avodart out- I can switch to that. And there's gotta be other stuff around the corner...

I'd use both- See if you can hang on to what you have. You never know what kind of medicine is around the next corner... Perhaps a cure?

Bytes- This was a discussion once before- Can't remember when or where, but I know what you are talking to- But I think that jagged look was something that was discussed between the Doc and the patient. (don't quote me though) When you are deciding on a hairline, you have input- Shoot- Start a fad and have your initials grafted into your bald spot- hmmm DAMN it- Shoulda thought of that before!

Skant- BIG if not HUGE ditto here... Keep reading- You'll be enlightened. You may have to travel, but it's well worth it. Your HT decision is a BIGGIE!

Mine had to be somewhat short- Otherwise it laid a bit funny... It depends on what density, and what your texture is like however... My fine hair wouldn't "hold the weight" of longer hair. Now (after HT#2) I look like Don King, so it doesn't matter.

Vocor- Jeez, man- You gotta get to the patent office before you give out secrets like that!

Mahair-

I know you are stressed beyond belief. But it's too early for that yet. (I know- easier said than done) But just because the brakes are gone doesn't mean you should stop steering. Keep control, talk about it, share with your brothers here. You won't know the end results for months...

Hang in there- This will be the LONGEST 3 MONTHS OF YOUR LIFE... (But- I'm sure you've thought that "time flies" at one point in your life- Here's your chance to have time come to a GRINDING HALT!) Hang in there- at about 2-2.5 months I had almost a depression-thing going on. Wondering if I made the right decision, etc...

By 6-7 months- You'll forget all about the 1-3 months...

Nomoe- It was a bit wavy (limp, actually, till the shaft thickened up to support the weight) right around that 6-8 month timeframe. By about 9 months it was straight again. The 2nd time around (4 1/2 months now) I don't see wavy yet- It's either hidden among the rest of the hair, or it's not at that wavy stage yet...

Pete- I had 3000 and 2219 grafts, but I was a NW5a. The reason for my post- If you are only a 3, are you taking Propecia and Monixidil 5% to keep from going to a 5-6? Might be a good idea.

Also- Does your doc use Micro mini's or FUT?

I'd say less than that- Provided you are talking about a top doc.

HA! Awesome...

Ken- If the dots are hairs coming in they should be 3/4" long in about 3 weeks. Make sure you take more pictures then. In the mean time- I don't see anything either... But here's to hoping!
