Clive, the Norton clinic are without peer in the world horrifying life ruining butcherings, my life has been destroyed by this mob, they use 2 'surgeons' Kevin Hartley, a staff Dr from an A&E ward, he is utterly crap and still does punchgrafts! and Theo Vernikos the fue 'specialist' possibly worse than Hartley, i've seen his attempts at FUE, guy called PatchP posted pics on SHLN i can honestly say it was the most unnatural hairline i've ever seen, poor Patchy had to pay Norton to remove the grafts and was left with a sheet of scar tissue at the back of his head. You only get 1 head dont be stingy, go the best!

Hey Frog, Like you money is tight for me so have to save, i dont like advertising clinics when all I have to go on is anecdotal evidence from former patients (hopefully genuine!) but I have researched quite thoroughly and at this point im tempted to go for Feller, purely because i've seen his work (in the flesh)and i've only read good things about him, plus he seems a straight kind of person, his costs seem reasonable, even though $4k for 3-4 hours work is still good money (who ever you are) with his reputation he could command a lot more. Basically, i'd feel safe in the hands of any of the big names H&W, Bernstein etc but definately not in the UK. The trouble with the UK clinics are 1) Not properly regulated 2)They have been tarred with the brush used by greedy unethical and inept clinics like Norton and crooked surgeons like Desmond Greaves(struck off)and Tom Norton struck off) 3) I've yet to see what I consider an acceptable result from any UK clinic. 4)Very expensive! its actually cheaper graft for graft to travel to the US or Canada! this includes travel and accomadation.

Hi Frog, im in a similar situation to you, although my scar is not as bad as yours. I would NEVER risk letting any UK clinic attempt to repair me. I've yet to read anything that has persuaded me otherwise. Unfortunately we were butchered by the very worst and we need to be repaired by the very best, which sadly it seems is not to be found in the UK.

Hi Frog, Thats a nasty scar when was this done to you? im only guessing but was the 'surgeon' Kevin Hartley? young fella from NZ if so, i know for a fact he is a staff grade Doctor working in the A&E ward of a general hospital, he holds the most basic medical qualification legally permitted and he is responsible for numerous appalling HT attempts. Thats how Norton operate, blatantly false advertising hard selling by conmen and crooked doctors. They are filth

unfortunately there will always be people who naively believe that Doctors will always have their best interests at heart and that clinics are tightly regulated. This is not the case as many Former Norton patients have discovered

Chucky, i support everything you have said of this clinic, i have previously posted my own experience one which many other former patients will corroborate, there are several ht forums all of which carry threads involving the Norton clinic,all very negative i attach a couple of pics of Norton patients (these were originally posted on another forum by a former Norton patient) make your own minds up

Incidentally Johnno, noticed you deleted your reply to my previous post I managed to read it however, asking for Dr Hartleys nationality and the date of my surgery. Well my friend your frankly weird questions strongly suggest that you are either Jeremy Isherwood himself or one of his coherts. I am happy to provide answers to your quiz hope that they prove I am a genuine victim of this dispicable outfit Kevin Hartley is from New Zealand, he is apprx 35 years old and has a full head of brown hair, he has an almost invisible thin scar on his left forearm and uses this to demonstrate the likely appearance of the donor scar. My surgery was mid December 2005 and this unethical procedure left me with an ugly 4 inch scar for the sake of a smattering of unnatural pubes in my temples together with cobblestones and scars.

Hey PB Im glad Johnno had a good experience with Norton His Jeremy Isherwood must be a different Jeremy Isherwood to the man I met 12 months ago, the man who persuaded me I was a suitable candidate for strip surgery, the man who took ??2100 from me and left me with a 4" scar on the back of my head and 150 - 200 (im serious!)ridiculous looking pubes and cobblestones on my forehead..eh? My personal experience of Norton Clinic is of being conned, disfigured and traumatised. Johnno, you got lucky.
