  1. MTLien44, Try neosporin on the scar 2'ce or more daily. Graftcyte shampoo if applied immediately Post OP should help in recovery but still not too late to try. Also gently rub your fingers over the bumps while shampooing and avoid wearing a tight cap/ hat around the scar.
  2. Does new hair growth start as very small, fine hair/ peach fuzz as it is sometimes called? Is this a start of new hair growth and if so the how much time before they start getting thicker? Also I feel occasional pain (like being poked by a fine neeedle on my forehead). Is this normal, a signal for new growth?

  4. Its week 5, have lost 75-80% transplanted hair in Crown and forehead, but still lots remain. Doc says for most they should have fallen by now, but if they stay no major concern. Will the ones that remain grow when the others start to grow or they have there own growth cycle? Also how do the new hairs look like when they start to grow? (tiny small hairs popping here and there) Have used 5% Minoxidil and Propecia since day 5 post op..Could this be a factor in transplant not falling? Thanks much!! Great Site for info....

  6. How long would be a good time to wait after HT before one gets back to daily exercise routine? Dr's. say wait 2 weeks and then go back to normal. My main concern is not to stretch the scar in the donor area. What about chlorine affecting the transplanted hair? Any thoughts. Thanks,

  8. Thanks Guitar Player, Yes I am using minoxidil post op. Still if the transplanted hair dosen't fall, will it grow, or does transplanted hair have to fall before you see good results. also, does minoxidil work in the frontal forehead region or is it only good for the vertex/crown region? htfm
