  1. 4 months is too early to worry. I had 2 FUE surgeries and my donor looked slightly thin until prob month 6-8. It then thickened and thickened and filled in. I dont know if it is some sort of minor donor shockloss, but at 4 months, i personally believe based on personal experience that it is too early to get too crazy (even for donor). How many grafts did you have and who was your doc ?
  2. Here is mine at about 1/2" or #1 guard about 8 months out. This was the 1st procedure, I had a 2nd one recently and the scar is a lot longer and will see how it heals. I pray that it heals the same. I can go with about a #2 now and it looks good. -mick
  3. i have attached a picture. It is extremely deceiving. It was taken yesterday in a dark car. My hair is much more see-through and also has toppik it.
  4. I am current about 5 1/2 months post procedure. There were about 1300 fu placed in my hairline and I was about a nw 3-4. I know it is extremely early, but my left side is lagging way behing the center or my right side. Is it still possible/likely to have more growth and more hairs come in on one side (or throughout) that have not been seen yet ? Is it realistic for it to sort of "fill in" and thicken ? I am going to try to attach a picture later. Is a lagging side a common occurence ? I was told that the density through was going to be about 55-60 /cm2. The hairline (esp left side) is fairly see-through and shadowing/outliney. Thanks, Mickeyboxer

  6. Hello, What is the affect of HCG on hair loss ? My doctor recommended starting HCG to boost my low testosterone. I know that taking steroids would have a direct effect on hair loss, but is anyone aware of specifically what the actual effect would be regarding HCG ? I had a HT last year and was previously about a norwood 3. My hair loss has been fairly stabilized thanks to propecia rogaine and nizoral shampoo. Thanks, Mickeyboxer

  8. Hello, I had a procedure performed on 12/27/07 - combination of FUE and strip (about an inch - inch 1/2) with a goal of 1400-1500 total FU's. We wound up w/ around 1279 total FU's (supposed to be 882 1's and 397 2's) with 300 taken from strip and the rest FUE. The pics (in blog) were taken on 12/29 as the ones on 12/27 were very blurry, so there is scabbing. The goal for this procedure (1st time) was a hairline pass as I know I will need more. I am 36 yrs old. Opinions about work ? Thanks, Mick http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=643
