Joe and Dewayne I couldn't help but check out that youtube link! Very cool There was another video on there where Slash and Zak Wylde did Voodoo Child. I think it made some of my shockloss grow back from the chills.

Hey Joe!
It looks pretty damn good! Thanks for you hospitality and friendliness when I was there
and for all of the answers to my questions I have had before and after my procedure.
Later!

Hello Joe!
I will try that resizing tool out. Good to hear from you.
Bill, I think I recall you going back in April?
It is coming up quick!

Hello, Me again,
I am almost 4 weeks after my procedure with Dr. Hasson. He is a funny guy. I no longer have that beautiful hairline that I did 10-12 days after surgery. The crown still has hair growing but I am shedding. I mentioned to Joe that I look like I have mainge. lol
I did notice what little scabbing I had was flaking away at about 5 days along with some hairs. I have a TON of pics and I need to figure out how to post them and get some time.
It was a great experince and the DR. and staff were amazing!
We ended getting about 4500 graphs. Lots of ones and twos and only some threes. I have average density but thick course hairshafts.
I had a really stretchy scalp too.
I am pretty sure I have some shock loss going on also.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of the DOLDRUMS, I fear no SHEDDING or SHOCKLOSS, for YOU are with me; Your FORUM and Your members, they comfort me. lol
Beautiful city! We tried to experience as much as possible.

Bump! anyone... anyone....bueller.... beuller. lol

Hello Well it is done.
I am 4 days post op with Dr. Hasson. It was a great experience! I have been wearing a very loose hat as little as possible. My question is I am seeing some graphs fall from the front already. They are very short with nothing on either end(just hair) Is that normal for so soon after the procedure? I have many pictures and I will be be posting them very soon

I will be off for about 14 days, I know that H&W shave. Then it will be ready or not here I come.

That is just disturbing. I really hope it is not true.

C.BUB.
I will have an extra day and a half before my surgery to check out the city. I am excited about that. Suggest some great places to eat?
Mr. GQ. I will be having the doctor or technicians taking pictures to document the process. I should have time to put them in my weblog when I am off in hiding.
IMTBarber, I have been doing the exercises you mention. I can grab the skin between my fingers.
on both sides and a little less at the back.
Starting to feel like one of those dogs with all of the wrinkles sharpei? spelling?
RTC, great list and lots of good advice that I will use. My fiance is going with me so that is a great thing!
Spex, Thanks! I will keep you all updated

Eman,
Thanks so much for the support my man! I have been following your blog. I would be extremely excited if I were you. I will continue to follow your results. I will definitely not be leaving the house for a few weeks. I will post several pictures and reactivate my weblog for all to critique.
Mr. GQ where are you from?
I have to be honest it was really a toss up betwen H&W and Rahal. I chose Dr. Hasson because they seem to really know crown work.
In terms of numbers of graphs they seemed to pull similar numbers. I consulted with both and liked both. My fiance even wanted to eventually strangle me because I had such a hard time deciding between the two. lol
I tried consulting with Doc Feller but had no luck getting an eval. on my pics I emailed.
-
Capello,
Best of hands, I will be there on the 16th for my preop consultation. Then I will have mine on the 17th with Dr. Hasson. Mind if I stop by and say hello?
Best Regards,
Justgrow

BTW, I am 35 yrs and scheduled for around 4000 graphs. My last procedure with undesireable results was for around 700 graphs. Not ultrarefined methods.
Thanks!

Good Morning to all,
I am traveling to Vancouver next week for my procedure next week. I have used this forum for most of my research. For this I am grateful.
I still cannot help but be nervous even though I am armed with some great info from here.
I think my concerns are probably typical: I hope my donor density is good, I hope my scalp laxity is good, I hope for very good results and I am finally happy.
I welcome any comments and words of wisdom from anyone with the same concerns as I have.
Thanks so much!

super8mm,
pssssssst! Have you compared your before and after pics? What is not to be happy about?
You are only at 7 months as well. I am less than 2 weeks away from my procedure with Dr. Hasson. I think you have some really amazing results.

I was told that the second set of photo's were received but they were misplaced when I called a few weeks later. Is that that the same as losing them?
I did contact Marcia the second time to confirm.
However I never got the email or phone call on your recommendation.
That is why I called. I did everything I should have done. I must have been one of the few that"slipped through the cracks" I agree that there must have been a miscommunication some where along the way. At least I am not the only one. As far as a PM...I thought that an actual phone call was more effective than an email any day. That is what I did.
I am not trying to launch an attack at all. I am not the type of guy that makes things up either. What I stated was my personal experience and Fact.
It really is "much to do about nothing" and I guess even a little silly
I am happy with my choice.
Best Regards to you Dr. Feller and thanks for responding and explaining
-
You are not alone. I had the same type of experince with Dr. Feller.
I sent the pictures to Dr. Feller over a year ago when I was thinking of my second surgery. I called them and they said they lost the pics. I sent another set of pics as per her(Marcia)request for Dr. Feller to review and waited for a response For a few weeks. I then called again because I heard nothing. When I did they told me they lost my pics again. They said they would find them and call me. still have not gotten the phone call. I Started thinking I did not need the aggrivation of trying to chase them around and wondered would it be the same way if I had a post op problem or questions. So I am booked somewhere else.
I like the work of both docs but I really am truly impressed with Dr. Cooley's
work as of late.
This was just my personal experience and these are just the facts.
-
I am paying the remaining balance 2 weeks prior.
-
Abedogg,
I am scheduled for surgery with Dr. Hasson.
Best of Luck!
-
your procedure is one day before mine.
To answer your question. Yes I think it is normal. I have already paid 1/3rd towards my procedure. Good Luck to you.
-
I would also like to thank Shapiro Medical for the nice Card as well!
-
he really sounds like a classy stand up guy.

See you in February Dr. Hasson
