  1. TTP,

I feel your results should have been better. This emotional roller coaster should have started to come to an end around the 6-7 month mark for you. Look, I realize there are no guarantees however it would be comforting if Dr. Alexander would address this forum and give us some input on TTP's less than stellar result thus far.

  2. John,

Stop, relax and take a deep breath for a second. Okay? Look I KNOW EXACTLY what you are going through. I myself was also a repair patient. My first procedure was really done out of desperation and I was uneducated at the time.

It was from an unrecommende doctor. I PAID FOR IT IN EVERY WAY. Emotionally I was more paranoid than ever. Before I just looked like I was balding. After I looked plain "weird"

and thought everyone was looking at my hair. Oh yeah then there were the "eye wanderers" I hated those muther effers! Really it was all my fault. The self disappointment and humiliation I felt was literally eating me from the inside out. I had no idea how much one bad decision would impact almost every part of my life.

That decision affected EVERYTHING. My personal life, professional, friends, my girl, family and myself. I had cobblestoning, scalp irritation and it just plain looked pluggy.

My hat became my toupe. When people thought of me they thought "hat guy" IT SUCKED! I became withdrawn, big time depressed and I was not the person I once knew any longer. Life was dark.

How am I doing so far? Are you feeling at all like some of the things I mentioned? It was not until afer my second procedure with Dr. Hasson that hope returned and the darkness started to clear. You are only 5.5 months post op. That is nothing. I only just started seeing results at 5.5 months. That means I saw nothing significant yet. I ditched the hat at 6 months because I just wanted to. My hair is not perfect and my final results are not in yet. I at 7 months today. Have some faith. DR. Feller is very ethical and HE CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS.

He is passionate about his work and this is evident because he somtimes is quick to lash out against citisism and different opinions when he feels they are unwarranted. If I played football I would want a QB on my team with that kind of passion. You are on that team. The doldrums seem long and hard and they can screw with you. "Is is growing" "where is that mirror" "It looks good today and now it doesn't". I for one really hoped I would be an early grower and have some of the RARE impressive results that some others had at 5 months. I just wasn't. I hope this helps ease your mind some

  3. Some other views would be nice besides showing the hair pulled straight back. There is an improvement from the before but even pulled back it looks very thin and looks as though his styling options would be very limited.

How far along after surgery is he? Are these the full year results? If they are I wouldnt be very happy. I bet combed forward and even to the side it may look even thinner. I looked at the pictures SEVERAL times before writing and posting this. I think it was mentioned he had about 2700 graphs? It just does not look like that compared to what I have seen from other doctors and the area that was covered

  4. I agree, Shave it down and I did for mine. No big deal after 10 weeks. People I work with thought I had just gotten a buzz cut. I had a bald spot. I am in my mid thirties and there are a lot of guys that have some degree of hairloss by then. Shaving wouldn't be uncommon.

Yes! I would want to make it as easy as possible for the doctor to get the BEST result I could Especially if you are getting a 3000 plus graph Mega session. With Rahal you will stand a good chance to get more than that.

  5. I know this thread is a little old but I agree that it is a HUGE WASTE OF MONEY! Been there done it.

AM0986 I agree I always felt a little sore and bent over every time I walked out after an appointment.

  6. Dr. Feller,

Seriously, I do not undertsand you! It seems to me that Janna77 May have had a consult of some type with Dr. Jones? The reason why I say this is because they said...

"This is not intended to insult but rather to research the matter before moving to the next step."

    That's how I read it.

  7. Hey Bill,

I Think feeling horror sums it up pretty well.

I know I was one of those guys that was uneducated before my first procedure.Unfortunately I had bad results.

I probably would have given Pat like 2 grand had he been there to chirp in my ear and told me to run befaore I was cut.

    Hind sight, Right?

  8. Maybe this question has been asked before but I am curious.

When you go to observe different doctors and clinics and you realize there are serious concerns, What are your immediate thoughts for the poor guy or girl stuck in the chair on the receiving end? They are in the chair thinkin they are getting and hoping for the best results possible.
