  1. some dude--sounds like you have a similar case as i do, i went to a doc for a consultation and im looking about 800 fu's on the hairline myself. I started taking propecia a month ago and have a second consultation in five months to check the condition of my hair after 6 months of propecia. My plan is to continue propecia and go with the transplant. My major concern is shockloss but hopefully with the new advances in hair surgery (ultra dense fue) the loss will be minimal. Anyways keep us posted on your situation and how things are working out. thanks good luck!

  2. hey there was a thread a couple weeks ago about a new technique bringing hair restoration to a new level i believe it was called dense follicular extraction and i was just wondering if there is some more info on this and if doctors are having good results and what doctors are doing this. Thanks

  6. hey olsjar, i know how you fel, im pretty much in the same boat as you, im not blad or anything but i have a noticeable receding hairline and it pretty much has ruined me. I have been thinking about just going for it and having a small transplant and then keeping up on meds and msm as well as certain shampoo that blocks dht to maintain it. And if worse comes to worse and in ten years i do start to recede more i would just have laser hair surgery to remove the patch of hair that was transplanted. This is what it kinda has to come down too becuase living like this is torture.

  7. i have heard a lot of people say that if your in your early 20s that you should not get a hair transplant on your frontal hairline due to the fact that there is a possibilty of more reccesion in the hairline. But why couldnt someone undergo laser hair removel to remove the transplanted hair so it wouldnt look so bad say in ten years if one did continue to bald. In my opinion if i was really going bald or had a brutal transplant that i would remove all the hair by laser and then always have a slick head then always having to shave it everyday. Is this even possible though or has anyone heard of this before?
