  1. guys what if I don't really care so much about doing the crown area, all I want to achieve is a hairline and a decent number of grafts on the top. I don't mind using after the HT toppik to give the illusive effect of volume. but definitely I don't want to use any meds after the transplant. These question you listed hairlose1 are really eye opening I have never thought about. I wish to ask members of this forum their opinion: 1- shall I just shave it off and accept the fact of being bald? 2- Shall I try the HT, with the focus on hairline and the top only without the crown. 3- I am confused about what NW scale I am, can someone try to be accurate in identifying my scale? Thanks
  2. Hello guys According to the online consultation with a clinic they did via viewing my pics they recommended 2700 grafts. What do you think guys, they also offered me that any extra grafts beyond 2700 are free. My questions are 1- how many grafts do you think I need 2- Am I a good candidate? Thanks so much

  5. Guys its been a real battle of the mind, but I finally I gave in, and I paid 10% as down payment, I did that so I will force my mind to take the operation with no return. I need your help guys, to help me find a very formal hat that could be used to wear at work, and that will not affect my graft, maybe black is the most formal hat color. I really hope I made the best decision, can I ask you guys in order for the scar not to be visible what cut number can i go the most. Gosh I need encouragement, I hope the ugly duggling phase will pass without social phobia, this is the 1 worrying concern to me in all the procedure.

  7. Money is not a problem Traveling to another country is not a problem Finding a good clinic is not a problem Taking 10 days off is not a problem THE DAM PROBLEM IS THE UGLY DUGGLING PHASE that lasts at least 6 months, till you look normal again, if not more.... Please god I hope to wake up one day and read news about an invention that the transplanted hair would not fall off after a ht surgery. Or that some genius person would be able to offer a solution to this problem ( don't mention wearing a hat ) I can't wear hats to work I can't imagine how awful it would look having hair on the top, and then have the newly transplanted hair buzzing out from the front. Dam this is a struggle to me!!! Doctors, please find us s solution, I think the only logical way is that some genius would find a way for the newly transplanted hairs to not fall off, by that we can be encouraged to buzz the hairs, since at least we would still retain a frontal frame immediately after surgery. Guys what do you think?

  9. yes I live in Israel. It seems that this doctor will host the ISRH meeting in 2009 in tel aviv. I really wish someone could visit this clinic and rate it. You know they offer a HT for about 4000 USD, compared to other clinics I think its a good deal. But I am worried that sparring few dimes would cost me more than money. I can't actually think of doing it in the US or Canada, its too expensive there. This clinic is within my budget. I am thinking to do it there or at transmed? Any help would be appreciated?
  10. can someone please check out the site of this doctor and if anyone heard of him http://en.hairtransplant.co.il/p-20/ Does any of the surgeons who read this board ever heard of that doctor in israel

  12. I will only wear the hair piece once a week for only 8 hours. As i work in the office, so I will not be doing efforts. Now the question is how can I find a good source for a good hair piece, and what type of hair piece shall i look for.
  13. Hello There I have read so much on the forum, but I am having a huge problem, and hopefully you can tell me what to do. I am not completely bald, I have some hair on the top of my head, and little on the frontline, and less on the crown, but with using toppik i can pull up an acceptale hair look. But it takes me so long to style my hair so no one will detect I use toppik. So I intend to do a Hair Transplant procedure using the FUT procedure, please note that I work in a very delicate job which requires to look good. I am now feeling paralyzed, about what to do. So an idea come into my mind and I was wondering if you can tell me if that is safe and possible, and what type hair system products can I use. Please note that I only can take 2 weeks off from work, this time should be enough for me to do the transplant, and get rid of the scabs that will fall after surgery, and be in the safe zone to wear a hat if needed. But as I told you I work in a delicate position, so I thought if there is a possiblity to wear after 2 weeks from the Hair transplant procedure a hair system that looks very close to my hair that I have before transplant, as you know it will maybe take 5 months for the transplanted hair to grow to a point to be able to comb and style. Now the question is can I wear a system on my scalp, and let the transplanted hair grow to about 2 inches which will take about 5 months. PLEASE NOTE, I only need to wear the system only 1 day a week, this is when I go meet with my boses, but the rest of the week I can go without wearing a hair system, so that I can leave my transplants exposed to the sun and fresh air. So is it possible to wear a system for 1 day a week for 5 months, and have my transplanted hair grow, will it not affect the transplanted hair if I wear a system

  15. You know I have faith in the success of FUT chosing a good doctor, but my only restriction is the ugly duggling phase, my work is very sensitive, and i can not wear a hat in my type of work. Also I will be rediculed by my colleagues if I will look weird. Goshhh what a nightmare, how can I overcome this ugly duggling phase, and how long will it take, and will the transplanted hair in the front take too long to blend with the rest of the hair, especially the hairline and the templars
