So here's the results after 4 months shortly. I took these pics on Friday Feb 11. Sorry my pics are not consistint such as lighting and angles but this is the best I can do. I only have a camera phone and I have lost most of the pics which I took before my hair transplant. But these should be good enough to kinda of see the difference between before and after the procedure. I am a little concerned to be honest as far as results goes but I don't know if I should be worrying. if I can get some help here that would be great.

Man I don't even know where to even start from. I am glad to finally say though after being bald for so long, I have finally gotten a hair transplant. It has been my dream and I finally got it haha. I have been on this forum too for a long time doing extensive research. Thanks to this forum, I went with Dr.Humayun because not only is he from and in my country but also because I have heard good things about him. My procedure was done at the end of September 2010 in Pakistan. Dr.Humayun and his staff were great. My overall experience was fairly good. A little bit painfull though in the temple areas. I decided to get around 1700 grafts in the front and the rest of around 700 in the crown. I chose this because these were my big concerns for now. I am planning on probbaly getting another procedure depending upon results. Anyways for results, I am going on now on 5 months. I believe after 2 or 3 months I saw new hairs. My front line came out fairly quickly which I am happy about. However I am a little worried about hairs behind the front line. I am not sure if my progress is good or bad so far. I wish my hair density was a little better. I know I have to be patient and it might be too early, but I wished I had a few more hairs then this. I think my hairs gonna take a long time. I dont know so I would love any comments. This is my first time posting pics to any forum so I will post up results after this.

after looking at those pics and reading this thread it makes me kinda feel like maybe even I could get away with 1200 grafts if done right......too bad other docs always reccomend a much higher number.....im a nw4 and one of the docs i visited said i needed 4500 grafts.....i was like wo in my head yeah whatever.....i knew he just wanted more money.....i wouldn't mind it either but at the end it all comes down to costs as to whether or not i can afford it.....i wish i could show you guys my head and maybe you guys can tell me how many grafts i really need.

I found some old proscar quarter pieces in my bathroom drawer that I forgot I had. I didn't finish the medication a while ago which yeah I know I should have. Well anyways I am deffinitly gonna stay consistent wth my new routine. Do you think though that I can still use the old proscar. I can't find the bottle of the proscar so I don't know the expiration date. The pieces are in another container. I think I bought the proscar like a year or 2 ago. What do you guys think? Can I use them?

Yeah I know what you mean about the getting off the steroids and then geting reduced. It's basically like creatine then. When I first took creatine I loved it and I was like man this stuff is the shit and I can lift more. But once I stopped using it all of a sudden I got weaker. It's a really crappy feeling knowing that you have to rely on something just to get stronger and and to be able to lift more. This is a big turn off for me. Also like you mentioned that a lot of people that take them overdose it. That's why I think that however if you take them in the right dosage they probably aren't as bad as people say they are. I have also heard that it tends to make you more mad and even causes depression due to this fact. But I have never heard that it can make you express opposite sex traits haha. I find this really interesting. I take your word though. As far as the governator of course I can see him getting a heart surgery or whatever. I mean no one probably did it more then him haha. He was a huge bodybuilder at the time when steroid use was like at its peak. They used them like it was water cause they didn't know all the bad info about them back then. Correct me if I'm wrong though. It still amazes me though how people are able to get a hold of steroids. How the heck did the kids from the baseball team get them haha. As far as DHT levels go, I have read that after you stop useing them your hair becomes normal again. This is just my opinion but I think that the use of steroids is ok to use as long as you go about it the right way. Meaning taking the right amount of dosage, working out a lot e.t.c.

I am pretty knowledgable when it comes to bodybuilding. I know a lot of stuff. Working out, what foods to eat e.t.c but one subject I never really knew about was steriods. I was wondering why anabolic steroids are bad for you. I mean they make you much bigger and and will probably allow you to get tons more chicks so why not use them. It produces lean muscle. Plus doctors write priscriptions for them as well. If I use them and workout hardcore I can gain like 20 punds even in 2 months. More then likely I'm not gonna use them though. I'm more curious. I heard if you use them in the right amount of dosage and workout a lot then their ok to use. Is this not true.

yeah i found out that the rogaine company has exclusive rights to make the foam.....man i hate that.....generic foam would have been nice haha.....i think im gonna go to sams.....i heard they got a 4 month supply for $50.

yeah thanks guys for the advice.....i think you guys are kinda right in a way.....theres other things in life besides just hair.....i need to start focusing on other things too like confidense and in geting shape.....im gonna start doing things like working out again soon. Ht when you said buzz your hair do you mean comletely just shave it off.....I buzzed my hair already and my hair is only like half an inch short.....i think it doesnt look that good though cause maybe its even easier to tell that I'm going bald.....i cant imagine shaving COMPLETELY though.....sounds kinda crazy but if its better then whatever works Chuck It's funny you mentioned the thing about how I should work in the front cause i work in the back with just a few guys.....maybe I need to start working around more people, especially girls haha.....i have some social problems i admit that i need to overcome.

Are any of these sites good for buying generic propecia. I don't even know if their real or fake. Here is some of the sites I have been looking at. A lot of these sites manufacture and ship their generic propecia from India or some other country I have never heard of haha. It makes me wonder. thanks Bill and why for the responses. so yeah i have seen some of these canadian sites and other online sites.....besides really cheap minoxidil, i have also seen some generic propecia on these sites that are extremely cheap.....upto 3 or 4 times even cheaper then the name brand propecia.....do you guys think that the cheap generic propecia on the online sites are good to take or they probbaly dont work as good as the name brand merck.....im really interested in knowing because i think i might buy some. as far as rogaine goes, im gonna stick with the foam......but do they also make any cheap generic foam of rogaine as well?

Can you guys for once solve the dilemma as to which is better, the rogain liquid or foam. I am about to go out and buy some rogain and I have heard different opinions as to which is better. I would have to say from most of what I read, the liquid is better. I don't even know if there's really that much of a difference if they both deliver the minoxidil 5% solution. I don't care if the liquid form is more tedious to apply, it would be worth the effort if it works better. Also, where is the best place to get this stuff from. I see they sell it at most places like CVC for $50. By the way I checked the rogaine site and they discontinued the $15 off coupon which yeah sucks. Another questin I have is do you think the generics or other brand name companys differ from the pfizer company which makes Rogaine. I mean there's such a huge price difference. The name brand Rogaine is $50 for 3 months but this generic 5% minoxidil that I found is only $32 for 6 MONTHS. I just shaved my head actually using a half inch clipper. I'm not a white collar worker but as a sandwhich maker at a sub shop, nobody thinks its bad in any way. I think for me it kinda looks better, I save 14 bucks, and plus it makes me look more bad which helps in getting the ladies. This is just my opinion, but I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah thanks guys for the support. It's kind of nice to know I' not the only person going through this crap and can get help. I started off actually yesturday by shaveing my head (half inch) in hoping this might help a little. My friends tell me that I look even more bald now which sucks. But some also say it looks better. So from there on and now I guess I'll just have to make the best of my situation. Take my proscar quarter pills, minoxidil 5%, and Nizoral 2%. I might also use nanogen and deffinitly save up money up for a good HT. You know, I'm doing all this just for girls. Those stupid bi***. God I hate them sometimes. I need to get a girl for once in my life. It kinda sucks knowing that I'm doing all this just for girls. If they didn't exist I probably wouldn't give a shit haha. I have read a good thread on here close to this one which says if you want to get girls, what helps a lot too is working out and looking built if not at least good conditioned. So besides just trying to focus on hair. I also gotta 1.Work out and get built. I'm fat now. 2.Decrease my body fat from %18 down to 8%. Easy for me to do. Did it down to 13 before. 3.Wearing some pimp clothes and shoes. Mines are bad right now. 4.Reading some good books on how to get girls. Specificaly How To Become an Alpha Male by Jason Alexander. I'm waaay too nice and needy and crap but this will all now change. 5.Always be well groomed. (nails, teeth, etc.) This is the part I suck at haha but will have to get better at too. Anyways, my point from all this is I'm taking your guy's advice and I'm really starting to do something about it. I will be on the treatments, use nanogen, save up money for Dr.Cooley and not just focus on hair to get girls. I'm gonna turn my life around.

I understnad the things you guys are saying. I know I really want a cheap doctor right now to get the job done but it will turn out bad in the long run. I will just wait until I can afford Dr.Cooley. I got a quote from Ailene (his head assistant) for 2500 grafts for 10k. I tried to talk her into doing something insead for 5k and she said they can do 1500 grafts for $5800 but that's as long as I go by their schedule and with no financing. Even though that sounds ok, I feel like I really do need 2500 grafts. I think I'm just gonna end up saving up money so I can go to Dr.Cooley for 2500 grafts even though I soo badly want one now . For now, I will just have to see how my medications will work. I never knew about nanogen and it seems pretty cool. However, I'm scared to forget to use it one day and my hair looks all bald again one day randomly. I just can't believe the amount of difference in hair transplant doctors. I thought they all had the proper education and could do them well. I'm really surprised and it sucks that it has to be this way. Why can't they just be like normal doctors who could all do their job well.

The thing about how I can let them use my pics on the net and the thing w/the filling up their canceled appointments, etc can help in negotiating a price. Also, I didn't know I could have limited donor area. I thought that the hair they remove from the donor area would regrow but I guess not. I do kinda want to go the cheap route but you guys are also right, it's risky. I can understand that. Perhaps I could wait a little longer. Maybe until December. I just got a 2nd job recently and now makin $1500 a month. Until then I hope the proscar, rogain 5% and nizoral 2% will help. I don't want to wait too long though cause once I get the HT, I'll still have to wait for the hair to regrow. 6 months is a long time for reults but sence my hair grows really fast maybe I'll get lucky and see results in even 4 months. Well I do somewhat agree with you dakota3 but this doesn't always have to be the case. I'm sure you can still find a good doc at a cheap price. Just look at Humayun for example. Either way I am getting a loan but of course I still have to watch my budget. Thanatopsis, I admit I am not taking any drugs right now. I just took this liquid gel called hairback 2000 for 3 months but seemed like it didn't really help me much.
