  1. Thanks to all.. Spex- Yes, I do need to meet with a couple docs and Dr F. is on the top of my list.(I'm 3 hrs away) HIGA- I'm 32 and have similar thoughts as you, keeping it short now and obviously would then grow it out after the HT.
  2. Just wanted to see if anyone else is concerned or obsessing about this too. I am a NW5+ with just enough native hair on top that I could pull off a ht without it being noticed, but I feel like the longer I wait and the more I lose that it would be harder to conceal the ht if I was slick bald. Im on propecia and still researching but I just seem to be dwelling on this issue. Thanks,

  4. RK, Looks like nice coverage for 3200. How did Dr Feller say your donor was? I'm anxious to see how you look, I have a very similar amount of loss.
  5. Thanks Hairthere and Bill..I understand the length x width x density = total FU"s...makes total sense to me. For megasessions who else does the largest sessions. I'm not arguing which docs are the best and saying the bigger the better- but for me it looks like Dr Feller and Dr Rahal seem to also do pretty large sessions of 4000+ Thanks
  6. Rambler, I think I understand what you are saying. Hypothetically speaking, if you were a NW7 with a 3" high horeshoe around your head and you had a couple HT's that removed a total of a 1" strip, would you now have a 2" high horeshoe? I know I exaggerated but I have wondered the same thing.
  7. Guys, As far as large sessions, does the size have anything to do with the size of the scar you want to tolerate? In other words, do patients say get as many grafts as you can because I will always keep my hair long enough to hide the scar? I would have to think if H&W did a procedure of either 3000 or 6000 on a patient that the larger session would have a slightly wider scar, maybe not?
  8. When people spaeak about a dusting in the crown for a NW5-6 what does that amount to, something like 500-1000 fu's? Thanks
  9. I'm with mrkneed..I feel if I have a ht I will get all worked up and faint. I'm not real good with needles and blood and from what I hear the strip removal makes some weird noises. I guess laying face down you would have less of a chance of fainting. Definitely something I will worry about!!
  10. Mike, I have only been researching HT's for 6 months but I have not heard 1 negative comment about Dr Feller, not 1 !!
  11. To Bill and members, Great site and resource we have here. Just had a nice message typed but when I added too many pics I lost the message. Anyway, I am 32 and just started Propecia a month ago. I have already spent a lot of time on here so a lot of my questions were answered. I have done online consults with many top drs and really like Dr Feller. He recommended 3500-4000. What can be achieved with that amount. I really liked the FUE at first but it doesnt seem like the way to go with my amount of loss. I will attach the photos in another message until I get things figured out. Thanks in advance for any help!
