Shahmalak works for the Norton Clinic
http://www.nortonclinic.com/testimonials
Watch out.. i rather suspect that if he were any good, he would not associate with these cosmetic criminals.
-
Only thing, how can you trust these HT folks? they will tell you anything just to get your money, after they've robbed and butchered you some more and you look worse, what then? many of them are'nt and never have been practicing Doctors let alone surgeons, they have the most basic medical qualifications and little or no surgical experience other then hacking chunks out of peoples heads, closing the wound with a staple gun and stabbing holes in a scalp. A real surgeon is highly trained and highly skilled, a world of difference.
-
I know my life would be a whole lot better if I didnt get stared at everywhere I go, if I did'nt have a giant scar at the back of my head and ridiculous looking pubes on my forehead. Also, the $10k I handed over to the people who did this to me, yes that would make my life a little better too.
-
That scar is just awful, and I suspect a lot more common than hair transplant clinics would have us believe, if it were me I'd be very reluctant to let another HT 'doctor' touch me, Triffid, why not go and see an ethical surgeon who specialises in scars?

In the context of the comment made by regretht, I agree it is imo morally criminal, as in shameful and disgraceful, a valid use of the word and one of its several dictionary definitions. As for whether any clinics are run by criminals in the legal sense, well, the outfit who performed my first HT was run by a man who served time for smashing a glass into a mans face and was later struck off as a Dr for disfiguring patients, so I guess that make him a criminal in both senses.

Many of these clinics are run by criminals, i'm surprised some of these so called Dr's are still alive.

Re John Malloy 'I've had 2, and I'm extremely unhappy.'
Ditto.

Did some digging into HDC, they appear to hold consults at the same place as FUEclinics, FUEclinics is run by a former clinic director of the infamous Norton clinic who claims to have severed ties with Norton, even though both use the same surgeon Theo Vernikos, and both appear to use the same Glasgow clinic. Whats going on? to me, it looks like HDC, FUEclinics and Norton are connected.

Thanks, personally, I would'nt pay Farjo's prices or trust any UK clinic. Having said that you obviously had a good experience, and a very quick recovery too, you were on this forum posting about your HT the next day, I've had 2 HTs and on both occassions was perpendicular for at least 2 days afterwards.
Regards

Thanks, I will give things another 6 months. its tough having to put up with stares and snide comments, hopefully the hair will blend better eventually. To be fair to Dr Feller his work looks fabulous in certain lights, its just in bright or daylight conditions the HT stands out like a snowball in a coal bunker.

As we all know camera settingsand flash can make photos tell all kinds of stories. The Norton work was appalling, all scars and practically no growth, what did grow looked like pubes growing from unnatural angles, not to mention they took a 1500 graft strip and planted just 2-300, thus binning over 1000 grafts. If the Norton work looked in the flesh as it does in the above photos I would not have gone to see Dr Feller and had I not been misled by the Norton clinic I would not have has a HT to start with.
-
Thanks for the advice, reserve judgement for now. The few hairs that survived Norton's attempts were always darker and thicker even after 3 years. Cursed with almost albino white skin and very dark hair, plus, native hair is miniaturised/ing, I suspect the new hair will never match.
-
Hd a HT with the Norton clinic, PoS doc put minigrafts in my temple points not many maybe 30 in each point, had a repair with Feller back in November, he dense packed the points and now I look worse than ever, the points look prepostorously unnatural and will get more so as the hair matures. Has anyone had this problem? I was thinking of lazer hair removal but I dont want to make things even worse.

Mgem, totally agree, AHS (A Huge Scam) are IMHO, sheer scum, these IMHO, grifters stole ??2000 from me for this lazer b/s, needless to say it didnt work for me and since I've NEVER EVER heard a plausible testimony from anyone whose experience differs from mine, must assume it does'nt work. My message is simple, PLEASE AVOID AHS! better to blow you cash on a holiday a car or even shares in UK bank! IMHO
Should I go for a HT or Not

I deeply, bitterly regret having a HT.
My sincere advise to Ray. Please research very carefully, be objective and suspicious of results photo's. Both John and I have had recent HT's with a top clinic, neither of us are pleased with our outcome's yet both of us look great in photos.
