  1. mmhce, I did have some dandruff growing up as a child. But it was never a major issue.
  2. Bill Dobbs, The only "idiot" on these forums is YOU. Obviously, your still immature and dont understand. You should go implant some testicles on yourself before implanting some hair.
  3. My hair sheds mostly when i apply minox. I am talking easily over 30 hairs. Also, anytime i run my fingers through my hair or when i shower. Anything involving me touching my hair results in shedding. Its ridiculous! Ive noticed shedding in the crown, but also alot in the mid-scalp. Moreover, touching my recipient area causes shedding in that area ( the front 1/3 of my scalp). I wanted to see if the sides or the back of my head shed, but that part is fine. All the shedding, that ive noticed, occurs on the top of my head. I dont notice any on the pillow though, other than the usual couple. However, i have to mention, i wear a hat most of the time at work which is like 30 hours a week.
  4. Mr. GQ, I had a STRIP done. I mean at 4 months everything was terrific. Rogaine was working incredible. But now, everything ive gained off Rogaine has shed. I dont understand either, because i never stopped using it. Even my transplanted hair is shedding.
  5. ive been on propecia exactly 6 months actually, since after my HT..Is this a "good" shed?
  6. Is it normal to lose ALOT of hair 6 month post HT?? ive been shedding like crazy the past 2 months..I use rogaine and propecia daily. Whats going on here?
  7. This is my 4th month on Rogaine. Ive been using it as directed with no issues or health problems up until last week. I am starting to get chest pains on the left side of my chest and sometimes feel like i cant breathe. Could this be the Rogaine and Fin? I mean ive been on them for 4 months with no problems. I dont know whats going on. I am shedding and getting all this pain. ITs like a downward spiral. I was so happy to see my hair getting fuller and thicker. Its all going down the drain. Has the Rogaine and Fin just stopped working? whats going on here? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  9. Im 22 years old. The meds were working fantastic and i was so excited because with the HT, things were begining to shape up and look real good. Just recently, however, i started shedding again! IT doesnt make sense.
  10. I highly doubt that it is shockloss. Its occuring right at the crown, which is where i apply the rogaine. Within the first couple of months of usage, it was great. But now, if i run my hand through my hair, i get a bunch of hairs. Even after a fresh shower, i still get some hairs coming out. I try not to pay attention to it, but every morning and night, when i massage the rogaine in, i cant help but notice the hair sticking to my hand.
  11. Bill, Yes, i am taking Finasteride 1mg daily and applying Rogaine Foam 2x daily. I started Finasteride the same time i started Rogaine. My transplanted hair was in the front 1/3 of my head. I do not apply Rogaine in that section, just the crown. At first, the results were fantastic, but now its shedding like crazy. I dont understand whats going on.
  12. Hi guys. I am 4.5 months post HT. I've been using Rogaine on the crown after my ht with outstanding results. However, now, 4 months on Rogaine im begining to shed ALOT. Pretty much, everything ive gained since begining it, is falling out and its back to the way it was before i started using it. Is this normal? I mean, i understand if it shed within the first couple of weeks or 1st month or 2, then started to grow, but it seems like it did the opposite. It got thicker and thicker, and now after 4 months its begining to shed. Please help. Thank you.
  13. My hair gets too greasy way to fast and starts itching. what can i do about this?
  14. Hi mmhce, The transplant is progressing very well. You have made a great choice by choosing Alba Reyes. The team is extremely nice and professional. The service was nothing short of expectations. They provide you with a driver who will take you from the clinic to the hotel and to the airport. Dr. Alba Reyes is a very experienced doctor. She knows exactly what she is doing. They made me feel right at home. It was a wonderful experience for me.
  15. What shampoo do u think is best? i just purchased the Gillette "Clean and Thickening Shampoo"..Can i use that as my daily shampoo?
  16. How long after an HT, can i start shampooing with my regualr shampoo (H&S)after a HT. Its been 3 months and im still using baby shampoo. Can i go back to regular?
  17. Ok here is the scenerio. I wash my hair everyday and with a couple of hours, my hair gets all oily, greasy and stuck together. It looks so thin, clumpy and greasy. How do i keep it looking full and fluffy, the way it does right after a shower? It sucks, im 4 months post HT and this is NOT the look i am going for. lol. I mean its always been like that even before my ht. I know this affects my hair because all that grease cant be good! Moreover, i have noticed that it gets even greasier if i comb it or wear a hat. It gets super greasy and itchy. What can i do to help eliminate this oil? I shower with baby shampoo right now because its easy on my hair and ht hairs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Shampoos?Tips?Advice? Anything! I dont want to keep this messy, oily look, especially after spending so much on a HT. Thanks.

  19. The problem of sleeping on your side after a ht is that the fluid that the doctor has injected into your head would begin to move around, thus causing swelling. You want to try and keep your head leveled so that the fluid stays in place reducing the chances of swelling. Also, you want to keep your head as leveled as possible while asleep the first couple of nights because to also maximize your chances of keeping the hairs fully in tact. I believe thats the reason they ask you not to bend you head down to tie your shoe or do other chores that require you to bend down. Thats my knowledge on that topic..i could be wrong though
  20. i dont recall sleeping at all..lol..i put 2 pillows on top of each other and put my neck in one of those travel pillows to prvent my neck from shifting. Also, i had my head wrapped in a bandana...In short, try sleeping with a travel a pillow..it helps keep your neck in place. =) Best of luck!
  21. Its been a little over 3 months..I see a small difference, but nothing major. When do patients actually notice a big difference?

  23. Its not so much tingling actually. What i mean is, it feels like the needles punching through the scalp. Its not extremely painful, but there is a bit a pain. No blood however. Is it possible that the grafts could be dying at this point?
