Regular Member Ralph J. Posted June 17, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted June 17, 2007 Hi folks, I'm only ten weeks out but I'm already started to see some growth on my hairline. However I can only see growth on my left and from side of the hairline, my right side is completely empty and no signs of any growth, my girlfriend says that I look funny, and I certainly don't want to look funny if you know what I mean. . I know that is early in the game, but should I be concern of this uneven growth? Your opinions would be greatly appreciated. Ralph J.

Senior Member MrJobi Posted June 17, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted June 17, 2007 Hi Ralph Uneven growth is normal .. Some say the crown area grows slower as well.. It's really hard to judge growth week by week or month by month.. the best thing to do is do hold all jugdments until 1 year -14 months. If not you will just be making yourself miserable watching the grass grow. Of course you can make some observations at about 6 months or so but it is still early JOBI 1417 FUT - Dr. True 1476 FUT - Dr. True 2124 FUT - Dr. True 604 FUE - Dr. True My views are based on my personal experiences, research and objective observations. Regular Member Jason76 Posted June 17, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted June 17, 2007 Hey Ralph, Uneven growth is perfectly normal, so don't worry. Hair Follicles are complicated things and maybe the hair that is not growing on your right was more affected from the DHT. Relax, like MRJB said wait until about 12-14 months before you make any kind of substantial judgements. If after this time you are still seeing no hair growth on the right hand side consult with your doctor. (Signature removed by Falceros - Co-Moderator of this community due to promotional material. Regular Member Bayer Posted June 17, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted June 17, 2007 Hi Ralph, As others have said, uneven growth is normal. I am experiencing the same thing as Balody did, left has some catching up to do in order to even up with the right. Time should take care of this. Senior Member bverotti Posted June 18, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted June 18, 2007 At this point nothing to worry about. If it is still the case after 10-12 months I would ask for an explanation.
