Best DHT Test for hair loss?

Im going to start topical finasteride but want to monitor my DHT levels before and after treatment. What's the most reliable test?

dht tests are useless imho because it fluctuates highly throughout the day

 

also not sure what you are trying to accomplish; you eithet get sideeffects or you wont

 

if you have zero sideeffects and then you see that your dht level got lowered through one test you will stop taking topical? or reverse; you get extremely bad side effects but the bloodtest shows youre just 5% lower from your pre-fin status? then what? you then can say its most likrly placebo but somehow also not since finasteride not only affects dht but alsl other neurosteroids to a certain degree (some people might even say that is the maincause for ed, comparable to antidepressants who have zero effects on dht but can absolute kill your erection)
