Senior Member Fingers Crossed Posted February 4, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted February 4, 2010 I've read tons of articles regarding shock loss but I was wondering, on average when can a patient assume that they are "safe" from having any shock loss? In other words, up to how many months can one experience shock loss following a surgery? Thanks in advance... Senior Member Cam Simmons MD ABHRS Posted February 8, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted February 8, 2010 RajToor is right. Shock loss is most noticeable in the first 1-3 months. By 4 months, the transplanted hair and the shocked hair will usually be starting to grow back.
