Is it Okay To Combine Oral Finasteride + Topical Finasteride & Minoxidil?

Hi all heard mixed results about whether this is fine or not to do.

 

Would be 2 1mg tablets a week and a solution with 0.3% finasteride and 6% minoxidil  so ~3mg topical

 

Some places say don't do this but have seen surgeons recommend this. Any advice/experiences?

Self-dosing is usually a suck it and see basis but you need to be careful not to limit DHT to the level that it will give you issues. If doubts see your doctor or whoever prescribed them and ask about them in synergy. Try to block as little DHT as needed to benefit the hair and monitor for sides and how well you tolerate it and the pros from it. That said 0.3 if fairly weak as a topical and also calculating absorption etc so probably won't give systemic issue per se.
