Bald_Canuck
Hello, I know im very early into healing but I had a FUE procedure and they used a 0.8mm extractor. The pink color is healing up well and from a far looks overall on pace on how it should. If I look really close it seems the holes have a slight pitted look, and are not completly filled in yet and flat with the skin. I assume this is normal and will take time since after all, the body is filling in quite a large hole. any input be it first hand or third party is appreciated. Thanks ! Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted September 20, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted September 20, 2023 The scalp really requires a good 12 months at least to heal. I’ve had scars on my scalp since I was 18 from transplants and repairs and I’m now 56. I can promise you that scars do improve over time. Don’t panic you’ll be fine.
