HELP! 6 months post opp

Recommended Posts

Hi all, so i went to turkey for a hair transplant in march 2023 with turkey hair bank and the doctor being dr.gokmen guccer and I know two people that have used this clinic and got amazing results plus all the reviews are amazing.

Im now 6 months post opp and i have a patch around the size of a pound coin that hasnt yet sprouted.. maybe 3 or 4 hairs in the area have sprouted only.

I never knocked this area or damaged it in anyway post opp nor did i have any bleeding that shows signs of loosing the grafts.

This one particular patch formed a dark scab that took abit longer to fall off than all the other scabs. I did not pick this or anything. It eventually came of by day 11 and there was hairs as normal under the dark scab like there was under all the other scabs when they came off. Since then all the transplanted hair went through the shredding stage which is normal.. but now im post 6 months and this area where the dark scab was, the new hairs still havent sprouted back through…

I have spoken to the clinic and they say it will come through late due to the dark scabbing wounded area as the roots (hair) are there when the scab came off as seen in photo, i just need to be patient and wait the 12 months

I just want peoples opinions wether they think it will still sprout in this area after 6 months or wether the clinic are just trying to keep me happy for the time being‍♂️… if anyone could let me know what they think i would extremely appreciate it! Wether you think it will grow or not i would like to hear peoples honest opinions. I have attached photos to this thread of the dark scab, when the scab finally came off and what it looks like now 6 months later.

Other than that the rest of my transplant is unreal and i couldn't be happier.

its just driving me nuts not understanding why the hairs havent sprouted in this area🤦‍♂️
