jbhkhc
Once everyone's lost their scabs and have been given the ok to get back to shampooing as normal, what shampoo have you all been using?
Senior Member HappyMan2021 Posted August 5, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted August 5, 2023 Once you are all recovered post-op, you can use any old shampoo you were using pre-op..... Specifically when you are in the recovery period, you should be using baby shampoo. I personally like Vanicream (spelling?) Once you are past the recovery period, if you are still nervous or wary at all, just keep on using the baby shampoo or whatever your recovery shampoo was. There is no reason you cant indefinitely stick to a baby shampoo

Valued Contributor A_4_Archan Posted August 6, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted August 6, 2023 @jbhkhcbaby shampoos are recommended because they don't have too many harsh chemicals ...your scalp takes time to get completely healed and the only thing which have to be taken care of now is that your scalp don't catch up any infections...some harsh shampoos have many chemicals which can cause irritation/infection so baby shampoo for a month or two would be better...
