Regular Member AhmadChaudhry Posted July 21, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted July 21, 2023 (edited) Impressive and nice results. Just 2 questions 1- What size of blade or needle is used for grafts placing? 2- What is the density per sq. centimeter? If it is convenient you may reply otherwise no issue. Hello @AhmadChaudhry, Please find the replies below: 1- What size of blade or needle is used for grafts placing? Dr Turan uses the implanter pen for graft placement, that means that there is no pre-incisions made. He uses implanter pens that range from 0.7 to 1mm width. In patients with very thick hair, he uses 1.2mm implanter pen for multiple grafts (4 and 5 hairs) 2- What is the density per sq. centimeter? If it is convenient you may reply otherwise no issue. Density per cm2 in a hair transplant depends on many factors such as: hair caliber, hair/graft ratio, hair colour, skin laxity conditions, native hair or no native hair in the areas to be implanted, areas of implantation (hairline requires greater density than other areas), etc. So, they vary for every patient. In this case, the implanted density ranged between 50 to 40 grafts per cm2.
