Regular Member Walker Paper Posted July 8, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted July 8, 2023 I am wondering if you guys who had a second transplant did see a slower, or a faster growth than from your first procedure. If so, what months did you start seeing new growth and how long did it continue to mature?

Regular Member Stewie Posted July 8, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted July 8, 2023 my first and second at a cheap clinic seem to start around month 3 with significant growth at month 4, I have just been to Eugenix in January of this year and the surgery was a world apart and so much more professional and clean, the healing was loads faster, but I was surprised as I saw nothing till month 4 and really its only in the last few week hitting month 5 that its now coming to life 4 x HT - 10806 Scalp - 1800 Beard
Valued Contributor A_4_Archan Posted July 9, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted July 9, 2023 It will vary depending on lots of factors at the given time....so it can't be judged...but from my experience oral minoxidil and sometimes prp would help for an early growth Check Out My Hair Transplant Journey --> My Thread 3611 FUE Grafts With Dr Kongkiat Laorwong | Norwood 5 | 2nd May 2023

Rahal Hair Transplant
@Walker Paper, It’s possible that the second hair transplant will grow in slower than the first but not necessarily because it’s the second hair transplant. In fact, there are a number of variables that can facilitate hair transplant growth. Examples of variables include, whether or not you’ve used the same surgeon or went to a different surgeon, the depth of the recipient incisions made, whether or not hair was transplanted in and around the same area as the previous transplant, how long the follicular units have been outside of the body, the amount of tissue surrounding the follicular unit, which is often determined by the punch size, the type of procedure weather at the FUT or FUE, etc. All that to say, as long as you’ve undergone surgery with a reputable surgeon, your results should mature between 12 to 18 months even if the new hair growth doesn’t start until a little later, if for some reason. I hope this helps. Rahal Hair Transplant Rahal Hair Transplant Institute - Answers to questions, posts or any comments from this account should not be taken or construed as medical advice.
