Shock loss or over harvesting? 2 months post op.

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I had a hair transplant on the 24th of April this year. I had a surgery with 1500 grafts moved with the FUE technique. It’s 2 months post surgery and I’m a little concerned about my donor area. I have seen small improvements in the donor area so I’m hoping it’s just shock loss. I had a previous transplant in March 2022 and came back to add more density to the top. The first transplant was 2000 grafts.  I didn’t have any shock loss issues in my first transplant. It seems to be an issue on both sides of my head. One side worse than the other. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

Yeh this is normal and would heal up with time and medication...it can be concerning if it stays the same after 6 months post op
