25 Male Blonde Hair Loss

First time poster, long time follower of the forum. I began noticing my hair loss when I was 22 and I began topical minoxidil in March of 2020, with oral finasteride beginning in January of 2021. In January of 2023 I switched to oral minoxidil due to a change in my life and habits, and I also began other hair related vitamins. I am mainly posting in the forum asking what they thought about a possibility of a HT in the future. I have noticed that the part the right side of my hair is suffering from more loss (pictured in the photos)

25 and yeah oral finasteride

You have pretty advanced recession for a young age and it seems like you have some diffuse thinning as well. I might think about adding oral minoxidil, upgrading to dutasteride and reassessing after a year.

You seem to be in the same boat I was in (maybe even better?).

How long have you been on finasteride?

It's also important to note that transplanted hair is grows slightly darker compared to non-transplanted.

I have been on finasteride since 2021.

Well you've been on it long enough to look at transplants, a lot of younger people want transplants prior to any long term finasteride use.

I recommend going to local clinics to get a review of your donor area, then travel abroad for the actual procedure.
